« Very nice staff , very polite and attentive. »

I stay often Accor hotels and don’t really have any problems ,. Will be back at mercure Raspail at Xmas. Only small point in room , sink plug device disconnected , bath drain may be slightly blocked.

« Good location & acceptable rooms »

Our room was fine, although the shower in our daughter's room was WAY too small. Luckily she's small. A big person wouldn't be able to turn around. We stay here often, and I'd like to mention that the last 2 times they have forgotten to offer the "welcome drinks", and unfortunately I too forget until the following day when it's too late.

« Room too small for comfort »

My room was too small for comfort and the shower was impossible to use without leaving the screen open. The bed making also left a lot to be desired, with crumpled sheets and ill fitting mattress protectors. There was a lack of toiletries provided, being just a bar of soap. On the plus side, hotel is very well situated and was very quiet. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

« Frustrating once again. »

Upon arriving the room was very cold. I asked the front desk if the heating was turned on in the hotel and was told that the heat was on and I simply had to adjust the radiator by the window. The radiator never warmed up and the room stayed cold all night long. This summer we had the same problem only in reverse with A/C in this same hotel. I decided not to bother the staff because in my experience with Accor during this stay and my previous stay nothing ever gets done. I paid for a good night sleep and Mercure did not deliver. We are seriously considering never to stay with Accor again.

« Poor customer experience »

The hotel was well located, but we had one issue which we felt wouldn't correspond to a 4* hotel. We asked our bed sheets to be changed in the evening and we were just provided with them, but had to change them ourselves because "the person in charge of doing so was not available".

« Great Location and value for money »

The hotel is excellent, with good beds, modern shower rooms and pleasant staff. It was very quiet and we slept well, even in central Paris, and the location is great. The only criticism would be that the rooms are small; probably not unusual for Paris but just a little more space would be better. Also, the safe in our room did not work - not a problem for us but might be an issue for some.

« Comfortable despite minor discrepancies »

The room was silent, bed and pillows were comforting. The room was too warm (at a time of outdoor chill). Housekeeping entered on two seperate days even though the “do not disturb” sign was hung. The shower hole cover was jammed resulting in the flooding of the entire bathroom. The breakfast area is somewhat crammed, which is acceptable at Paris standards.

Yes it was fine. Breakfast was good, everything was clean and staff were helpful. Good location. But, for the money we paid, the room was too small. The bathroom again was ok but I would have appreciated a bath as well as a shower.

A lovely welcome and efficient staff which shows a v good management. There is follow up and kindness. The hotel is very clean, the bedroom bigger than the average, the lights cosy. My favorite and only place to stay in Paris on rive gauche! Absolutely excellent ratio price/ quality wise!

« Everything good, except breakfast time. »

As I said I do not agree that at breakfast I should fix my own breakfast, press myself my fruitjuice, break eggs without spilling on my suit( I had a business appointment later in the morning) to make myself my sunny side up eggs.Alternative was just eat the omelette,but I dont like omelette. One lady waitress helped me out in making the sunny side up eggs, while the waiter tried his best not to help.I suggested that I could have hard boiled eggs instead, but he argued that even though there is kitchen it was not possible, not wanting to help.

« Short stay, smallest room ever but gotta love Paris »

Hello Mercure makeover agrees with Paris and the experience. The Front "office" ladies were lovely and so helpful. Rooms super small but okay for 1 night. My biggest issue was with the synthetic pillows/soft/and even softer and douvet and the "cheap feel" and the heat they generate. Actual linen was a bit better. Breakfast super expensive so we did not have it/ even the express one. Otherwise fine for 1 night. Thank you
