1. Check In Team/Check Out Team professional, competent, welcoming. 2. Room quality furnishing, but small like most of Nice hotel rooms. 3. Breakfast team professional, competent, welcoming 3. Breakfast area far too small for hotel with room number of Mercure Promenade Anglais, leading to numerous complaining, angry customers for "free breakfast" 4. Location is convenient for "tourism" visiting 5. Price a bit high, but is relative for the location

Staff: Excellent, good manners and want to help. Location: excellent. Very close to important amenities. Facilities: Size of room: very good. Carpets in the room and common corridors are very bad. Filthy and stained. Room facilities were basic (kettle, 2 cups and a small fridge). We have to request glasses. We got disposable small cups. Bathroom: bad smell which in last day we found, it was coming from wash basin drain! We paid extra for a superior room. It is not worth it. There was a building site next to the hotel which we weren't told about. However, sound insulation from outside was good. There was minimal advantage of having a superior room. TV, limited only to French channels with only one Arabic channel. Breakfast €16 or €18 per person. This is very high. After all, how much a person can eat? I have been to many hotels in different countries. This can not be classified as 4*. It is a good casual 3* hotel for business.

A room that needs a bit of 'user guidance' : Couldn't find a way to close the curtains on large window behind the bed, so felt a bit exposed. 2 disruptor switches made it difficult to turn lights back on, needed help from reception to do so.

The staff were unfailingly friendly, professional and helpful. The anti-Covid measures (hand gel, face masks, one person at a time in the small lift) all gave a feeling of good care taken. The location is ideal: near the pedestrian area, on the corner of the Promenade des Anglais. I shall be back! Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.

Welcome desk not professional. Rooms extremely noisy. Furniture from the 60ies but not refreshed Walls the same. Dirty. Aweful smell in the corridors. No lobby. And all this for a discriminating price. I'm staying with Accor for so many years but never had such an experience before!

We liked the personal attention of every staff member. The location of the hotel, the breakfast and the view from the room (park and sea) were very good. The room was OK in terms of size but light and decoration was below expectation. We didn't like the corredor of the second floor, the decoration and odor. Therefore, the hotel must improve on designes and decoration.

From arriving to the hotel, the night desk man didn’t help with a suitcase, gave us an aweful room nothing to do with the picture and didn’t even tell us the parking lot had an elevator a block away. Made us leave suitcases on front of hotel and go to park. Again no help with suitcases for my wife. Being Accor gold means nothing. No upgrade. No welcome gift, no drink, truly terrible experience.

Basic hotel, high price

Nothing bad happened, everything was normal. Just we were expecting a four star hotel especially that the price is quite expensive. The hotel is very basic 3 stars hotel. No amenities at all. And the room is very basic with no view, no closets, no coffee and tea. Not even a decent Lobby or terrace or gym or anything in the hotel. I would give it Ibis Budget brand not Mercure.

Check in was superb...Agent stored bags while room was getting ready. Received a text that room was ready...collected bags and key cards...proceeded to room and was and 20 minutes was disturbed by a violent argument occurring inside the adjoining room... the soundproofing between rooms are not good... it was as if the couple and children were inside my room. Realizing that this was not the pleasant experience we wanted for our 4 nights - we immediately sought to check out and stay at the Le Meridian hotel next door. Unfortunately, the staff (not the ones that initially checked us in) was unsympathetic and only sought why didn't we let them know - I was there letting them know why I wanted to check out - however, they offered no solution and reminded me that my room was non-refundable... I informed them that I felt uncomfortable staying one night there and cannot endorse this hotel. Four nights latter I received a notice of my check out and a survey shortly afterwards... crazy!

We have chosen the hotel because of the membership of Accor and the location. Location was great, just a little complicated was parking. The bed is very comfortable! Unfortunately no benefits of Accor provided!

The location is great. Quite big room with very comfortable bed! You have to use a public parking which can be a little complicated. Staff was friendly. No benefits for Accor members (!gold!) provided.

400 euros for a night in their «  best » room range. Looks super cheap. No front view on the promenade ( i guess the parking was more interesting). Building looks cheap. Room looks cheap. AirCon made us sick. Breakfast is not too bad though. Would not recommend for a price higher than 60/70 euros.

Bad noise issue and unprofessional staff

We have very bad noise issue on the room. The hotel has very serious sound proofing issue. We can hear every silgle word from next door, and the people on next door did not have proper ettique. We requested this issue twice. The hotel was mot taking this issue seriously. we cannot sleep until 1:30Am because the noise from the next door. Next morning, I told the issue again. The manager told to pack our luggage and they will move the room. However, we don’t have time to pack the luggage because we have the schedule already. In addition, we didn’t want anyone to touch our luggage without our permission. When we were back at night, the people next door became more crazier. So we asked again to deal with this issue. It seems they don’t beleive me. So I recorded the noise. Finally they understood. If you need the proof, I will send the record files. The feont desk gave another room which has hygenic issue with drainage. I wanted to discuss this issue more seriously. However, the front desk told me that I need to talk with manager next morning, and keep blaming us that this was becaue I didn’t pack the luggage. He seems kind of angry and kepr blaming me!!!. It is very horrible experience. The frontdesk keep saying we could give smaller room or talk to with manager tomorrow. We didn’t want to move the cheaper room again at 11:00pm!!! I thought they could do better way for the customer. We were the victim from the rude people ( room next door) and we had very bad experience because of bad customer service.

Friendly staff, very good location in the middle of everything you want, close to the beach and restaurants. Good parking place under the hotel but is another firm you must make reservation ! We will come back !
