The hotel is situated in a fantastic location for skiing. The staff were extremely helpful and they helped to make the stay very enjoyable. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis with regular changes of bedding and towels. We couldn’t fault the hotel.

« Great location »

Overall a good stay. Food in restaurant is good. Dinner concept was changed from buffet last year to served starter and main course this year (except Friday, where you maintain the great seafood buffet). We prefer mixing a bit more starters and having a smaller main course. The cooking of eggs etc. at breakfast makes quite some smell, one day all the way down to the ski room and you smell it in the clothes when returning to your room. You should get an exhaust system in place for the breakfast cooking facility. Room was good with plenty storage space and heating was sufficient. Beds were great - nice and soft. Toilet bowl is VERY low compared to normal height. There should be a shower curtain or glass wall between shower and bathroom table to allow taking a proper shower, which also saves water compared to using the bath tub. Wi-fi worked well. As a four star hotel in a ski resort, you should have a boot dryer in the ski room. Slightly disappointing as Accor Gold member that there was absolutely no recognition at check in that we had visited the hotel last season - instead we got the usual introduction where to find what. It would not take much search in your system to recognize return visitors.

average rooms and service and amenities , very good location but it needs renovation. not value for money very expensive , friendly reception and manager . the room was not what we expected but good for skiing

The location is excellent, but the rooms and the public places definitely need renovation. Definitely DOES NOT worth the money we paid. The room’s decoration look like 5 decades ago Also, they have stolen my sticks from the ski room

« Excellent location and breakfast. Shame about housekeeping »

We are regular guests of this hotel and stay on average two times a year for a week in January and again in February/March for the last 5 years. Never do we see same staff at the hotel. We are never recognised as regular guests, although the treatment is always courteous and polite. Check in/out time is a joke. It should not take 6 hours to clean the rooms. Housekeeping pocketed out bottle of champagne we forgot to take from the room at checkout saying they didn’t find it;)) I hope they will enjoy it. Bathroom need to be fitted with glass partitions to stop shower water from flooding the bathroom floor. Impossible to have shower without making a mess;(( Free guest shuttle service only runs until 20.00 and charge €15 until midnight. This should be free given the general resort standards. Thumbs up for free parking, breakfast and room views above 3rd floor and off-peak room prices. We are returning again in February and don’t expect anything to change as I have said the above for the last 3-4 years and nothing changed. So our next season will be at another hotel in the village. Hey ho.

Decent sports hotel for skiing. Restaurant could improve for dinner. Very good breakfast, however. Bar very nice. Rooms refurbished and pleasant. No place to dry ski boots is a major drawback in wet & snowy conditions.

Nous sommes désolés que la décoration n’ait pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes, et nous vous prions d’accepter nos plus sincères excuses. Certes, l'esthétique de notre hôtel vieilli, mais soyez assuré tout fonctionne parfaitement : électricité refaite, plomberie impeccable, internet avec la fibre, nouvelle literie, restauration... Nous investissons au fur et à mesure, et rien n'est visible pour l'instant, mais le gros final des rénovations est prévu prochainement, et nous ne manquerons pas de vous en informer. « Good - although the end of season parties where rather disruptive. »

The noise and disruption from the two days of end of seasons parties was rather annoying especially when in our party we had three children under 5 and where not informed in advance of this utter chaos.

Hotel has excellent location at top of Courchevel 1850. Piste was 50 meter from hotel with 1-2 minute ski run down to Courchevel 1850 centre with three egg lifts. Our room seemed recently refurbished with plenty of cupboards and drawers for two persons. Heating a bit weak, just managing to keep 21 degrees when set to maximum temperature. No coffee or tea making facility in room, but we managed to borrow a water kettle after waiting a day, since they are limited. Excellent food at breakfast and evening buffet in restaurant and attentive staff. Hotel staff in general very polite. Location at top of resort not well suited for those who do not wish to dine in hotel. Not good that a 4 star hotel does not have a boot drying facility, necessitating guests to take their boots to the room to dry.

« Superb 4 day break at the best ski resort in the world, at one of the best located hotels for skiiing »

This is the third time we have taken a 3 night / 4 day holiday at the Courchevel Mrcure. It is perfectly convenient for the skiing, especially with the Jardin des Alps ski gondolas that let you go into the centre of 1850 for the evening. Friendly young staff worked very hard to meet our needs (bagage from car, storing our suitcases, good table service at the bar etc etc.

I did not stay with you. In the autum 2018 I booked a superior room but in december 2018 some tests showed that I schoud go through treatment at a hospital in spring 2019. In january (2 month before arrivel) I called the hotel Mercure to cancel the room. I called again 1 month ago. At neither of the calls it was possible to cancel or make other arrangements. (I know the wording of the booking terms - but I consider this as a kind of force major). We have stayed several times at Mercure hotels (as you can se on my member card) so we are deeply dissapointed of the attitude from Mercure Hotel. Yours Thomas H..
