I made a reservation in the Mercure hotel, the one that was just in front of the entrance door of the Salon du Chocolat event. When I arrived there, after 14 hours of travel, they told me that they cancelled my reservation because no credit card was presented. When I asked my secretary what happened, she told me that no credit card was requested. Fortunately, the receptionist said that there was a room available for me in the Mercure hotel (where I finally stayed). I took another taxi to drive me there. The room was okay but there was no air conditioner (not even a fan), no shampoo, no slippers, no shower cup. I spent 6 nights there and I almost could not sleep; because of the high temperature I needed to open the window, but the people in the lobby made so much noise that it was not possible for me to rest at all. I was inclined to call the receptionist more than once.

Hotel is in a great location, however the hygiene has to improve.

Also the service has some considerable question marks. E.g the food is horrible and the reception is not helpful at all. The hotel staff enters rooms without being invited or making a service request.
