Unable to get water bottles after a long day out and had to buy €3.50 just for a bottle of water instead of getting a bottle from the front desk. There was also construction at the entrance so it was difficult to find the entrance to the hotel. Otherwise, everything else was ok.

Please renovate this hotel asap!

Dear Madam/Sirs, we - a family with two k., - were quite happy to stay in this hotel for two nights at the beginning of November 2021. The hotel is well situated within a couple of minutes from a metro station. Unfortunately, there are some disadvantages as well: 1. This hotel shall be renovated asap! 2. Our room was not prepared for us although we have booked a room with two k.. Our children shall wait till the room was prepared. 3. The shower doesn't work properly. 4. A lamp has been missed in a wardrobe. 5. A breakfast was some expensive, but unfortunately a bit poor: no bread, no vegetables, only a limited amount of juice. 6. The tablecloths were not cleaned. 7. There were a limited number of parking places. 8. I had to wait quite long for check-in

Worst stay ever

Rooms were suffocated. Air conditioners were throwing hot air at even 5 that was the lowest temperature. Had to switch room twice in one night. Had my worst experience ever staying in a hotel.

The hotel gave my reserved suite to a different customer and left me with a regular room

I made a reservation for a suite (Reservation number 81…5 with Hotels.com) months in advance. Called the hotel the day before to confirmed my reservation and they said that they blocked the suite for me. The day of the checking in I called in the afternoon to say that I will arrive at around 6:00pm due to the heavy traffic because of the strike in Paris. They confirmed me that the suite is blocked for me and not to worry. When I arrived to the hotel (around 6:00pm), they said that a mistake was made and they sold my suite to a different customer. I had to speak with the manager Antoine Tannoury. He gave me a discount. You can verify all the details with him. He told me that they have in record that I called and that the suite was blocked for me. I can not believe that an hotel can treat a customer like that, especially a returned customer of many times ( I stayed in this hotel 4 times before). I am a world traveler and I never experienced this kind of treatment from any hotel. (I am also a Accor member)

Worse hotel we ever stayed!

We will never stay to this hotel again. We always here knocking sounds upstairs and beside the room that disrupted our sleep every night. Staffs not friendly. Whenever they clean the rooms in our floor they don’t care if they make sounds that will bother other guests. Sometimes they forgot to clean our room because we still see dust in the room the next day. Aside from that, they did not change the comforter during our 5 days stay. You will know it because that at the last night of our stay we already felt the itchiness of the bedsheets and comforter. They did not provide us daily free bottled mineral water compare to other Accor all hotels. They said the tap water was drinkable not asking us if we were sensitive to tap water. The only thing we enjoyed was the 18 euro breakfast which was cheaper to the other hotels.

I had lovely time with my family in Novotel Paris Est during New Year festivities time. Is a great location, easy access to transportation hubs to get you at Paris city centre. In particular the staff is a differentiator, specially thanks to Lorenz who managed to prepare a quick pizza, out of serving time at the bar. Will definitely return in a next opportunity.

Flashy entrance, uninterested and stressed reception staff

Stressed staff and not at all interested in "the little extra" in terms of service. Didn't want to help with questions reg how to get around (during the strike). Had dirty sheets in the bed when arrived. Hotel ok but run down.

The hotel tries very hard, but it is a little bit old mess. beds, food, bar is good though. Airco functions only moderate. Meetings rooms are old, not fresh, and the one that we used had no airco. temperature rose above 28degrees
