Hi Wonderful location Nice staff Great help from Yanis and swtlana - there was no vegitarien food snd restaurant artound were closed but this 2 persons give us all help they can.truly appreciate and on same time I would request hotel authority to look in to introduced few vegetarian dishes (pizza,pasta,salads etc). Power lost in the room A few time.

Booked for 3 nights. 2nd night my wife wake me up early after a late night out saying that there is no power. As I am the only one speaking French then I had to get up and go to the reception. The power lost happen a few time. The technician said that there is sitting wrong in the kitchen which is link to this room. I had a bad day that day as I was sleepy and tired all day. Then they came out with another story saying that my extension lead was doing this. I ask to sleep in a different room and still had my extension lead plugged in and nothing happen about loosing the power. In my return to UK I had the extension lead checked and nothing was wrong with it. I think that i should be entitle to a free stay in your group. Thanks

Quiet but remote. Liked the efforts to serve local products at breakfast. Not 4-star quality in room decoration, furnishings, or staff. A client was at buffet several times without mask, speaking over the food trays. Meanwhile, every other client and staff wore masks. Staff did not notice or were not concerned: we ended up intervening ourselves, insisting that this client wear a mask when not seated at his table. Staff later told us this client had already been told several times... Why wasn’t he banned from restaurant and even from the hotel? If he causes COVID-19 infection, the entire hotel would get shut down. As it is, hotel created many unhappy clients because of their desire to appease one uncooperative client. Disappointing and dangerous.

Hotel was in an amazing location but a bit shabby - OK overall. The biggest issue was that there was only pizza to eat and they even ran out of beer on tap whilst I was there.

Reality very different from the pictures

We were aware that the castle suffered a fire a few months ago and that the pool and restaurant were not accessible anymore, however, we were very surprised to discover that the actual castle is completely covered by tarpaulin. It has then nothing to do with the pictures, and plus we were not aware either that they're building an outside pool in the garden. The supposedly peaceful garden with a beautiful castle on top was not nice anymore. Plus we had to suffer the noise from the pool's construction. We expressly booked a room with view on the garden but we had one with view on the parking. When we complained the staff answered that it is what we were supposed to have and was not helpful at all. Most of the pictures from the booking web are actually pictures of the interior of the castle and of course not available anymore but it is hard for a customer to guess what it's still enjoyable or not. I understand that it is very unexcpected circumstances but I believe that all the pictures from the castle should be removed to avoid disappointment. Also, no one ever came to clean our room during all our stay, and when we ask about it they said that it has to do with the covid. Very convenient to remove another service from the hotel when all the customers are sharing and touching everything for the self service breakfast. We were travelling with a young baby and had to remove the bin full of diapers ourselves from the room.

This Novotel is nested in the middle of the forest, making for a beautiful site! We borrowed some bikes free of charge to go in the nearby forest, enjoyed the fresh fruit for breakfast. Shame the pool was closed but I understand it will be up and running early august! Loved the « marché d’Augustine » where great products are available, specifically meat and gambas skewers. The cheese and wine were very nice too. Very friendly team, helped me with a technical problem with the safe, and answered any questions we had. Will definitely be coming back once the pool is done being built!

We enjoyed our stay especially because there was almost no client in the hotel so we had the park for ourselves and could really enjoyed the quietness and the proximity of nature. However when we booked the room on all.accor.com nothing was mentioned to us about the castle being closed (and the facilities inside such as the swimming pool and the restaurant) due to a fire happening there 3 months. We received an email from the hotel mentioning this after payment and only 2 days before we were supposed to arrive so we couldn't cancel our booking and find another accommodation on time. The hotel gave us a 10% discount but honestly this is not much compared to the fact that most facilities were not available (this is especially for those facilities that we picked this hotel) and the communication was bad (the hotel almost never apologized about it). The room was quite but wasn't the cleanest one (we could see hair and hairs from previous customers in the toilet). The overall building needs a good refresh.

A pleasant stay . Surprised by the changes .Some where good like the new decors of the restaurant . Some were not so much appreciated ...the way the receptionists are dressed and the place they sit ...a bit too causual . Can distinguish the staff from the guests. We have been using your hotel for at least 8 years every year for Christmas - we always book the suite .I cant remember having been able to get in our suite on our arrival which always takes place around 3 0r 3h 30 !

Easygoing and helpful staff, smart rooms, decent breakfast and dinner. The setting is very grand for a Novotel, with the original chateau and all the parkland around meaning that the whole place is completely private from the Paris suburbs surrounding it. It's also secure for parking etc which is very useful.

Terrific... except The room did not have Luggage racks. House keeping could have been more attentive. Klenix tissues almost out (two left), no bath mat, forgot to leave creamers for the second day, a bit of mold around the base of the shower.

We got the great and positive suprise that the reception desk was not mobile & dematerialized. The agents revamped the lobby with Halloween stuff. Great ! New Menu. A small regret : they bought the Poney Club buildings aside and there is no more poney club.
