« In general everything is fine. »

Need More lights in the room . The service for restaurant is way too long... I have no idea what the waiters are doing.... 20 mins to take our order... then the wait for the meal was not quick.... Specially the last day... it was in restaurant like 8 people we waited like45 mins to be served...and waiters are always missing someting , water or bread even if we asked before

Well, it appeared to be a self serviced category hotel and does not well compare with even Novotel India (say Kolkata). Room charges are very much on the higher side. Restaurant serves limited dining options. does not look to be built for international visitors. Taxi provisions are limited. Front Desk services are very casual. Tea bags and coffee refills were not topped up after consumption. there are areas of improvements.

The room was too hot to sleep comfortably. With your antiquated system, the heat cannot be shut off in the room.

The check in experience was quick. The room was as expected from a Novotel hotel. The gym was a let down, the treadmill did not work and there were no free weights. Restaurant options for vegetarians were very limited and the dishes on the menu were not inspired. Check out was speedy.

« No Hot Water »

2 days in a row there was no hot water in the morning. I was told it was fixed but the issue persisted. Nothing was offered in recompense for loss of this very basic yet important amenity. Having to shower in cold water is not what I expected from accor hotels and I am sad to have to leave this review.

Dears, Unfortunately, I have to send you this complaint as my stay was definitely not as expected in your Novotel in Evry, France. We arrived at your hotel late and even though I had a booking confirmation, there was no room booked on my name. It happens, this is clear to everybody. But the way, the staff treated this issue was not acceptable. Additionally, two of my colleagues did not get their rooms at first, because they do not have a credit card. All our rooms (in total 8) were booked via our travel agency BCD and one credit card was used for the colleagues who do not have one on their own. We were waiting more than one hour in total and were not offered a sit, a drink, there was no apology, no sorry, no nothing. One of our colleagues is a gold member of an Accor card and he said that he has never seen something like this before. My colleagues and I, who were affected of the waiting time, will not choose an Accor hotel in the future in France anymore. We would have been calmer now, if it had stopped after the issue with the rooms. But no, we were offered free drinks (3 for the three of us who had the issues with the rooms). We went to the bar, the waitress confirmed that we can also order cocktails, so we did. She came back, no sorry the vouchers don't include cocktails. We cannot understand that there are no exceptions for customers like us who were waiting now for more than 1,5h. But okay, we again accepted it. She offered us Aperol-Spritz, so we ordered that. Unfortunately, she came back again: sorry we're out of Aperol -Spritz. Additionally, we don't agree on the way the hotel treated our credit cards. Without Pin-code/ signature, the deposit was blocked. Everywhere, we are forced to enter TANs/ PINs/ whatever and in this hotel, no confirmation is needed. So you maybe now better understand, why we won't chose a French Accor/ Novotel anymore. As a suggestion: offer your guests free drinks. A seat and an apology hasn't harm anybody. Regards,

Strange "reception" for a hotel in Novotel class. This I don't like. I prefer people behind a desk. By checking out they got my company name and address but I still haven't got the correct invoice….

Swift and issue-free one night stay. Service quality as expected from a Novotel. At first a bit weird the "no reception desk" set-up, but I guess it is just a matter of getting used to it. Though it gave me the feeling of a somehow lack of control on who enters/exits the hotel.

The hotel service was great (stuff) and breakfast was the best part of the week! Big KUDOS for breakfast, but the room needs upgrade/attention. It was very inconvenient for me not to be able to adjust the temperature of the room, I was sweating every single night and waking up because the room was very hot, the cover was very thick and hot and there wasn't an under sheet to cover with.. I had to open the window to get some cold air and didn't feel safe doing that. The carpet and bathtub need to be in better conditions (outdated , needs upgrade), pillows weren't to comfy.

The hotel is very conveniently placed when travelling from Western France. The lobby is tastefully decorated, Staff is both friendly and professional, we liked the "non reception" area, with only a laptop and a mobile telephone.

The room was well pretty nice and large. The room air cooler conditioner was not adopted and the temperature was too high. Hotel personal was very friendly and demonstrated a positive attitude, trying to help. I am French and leaving in Germany for almost 29 years. When being to France, I am really disappointed by the food quality offered in your hotel. The French cuisine is internally know but it is NEVER served in your hotel. You should visit hotels and restaurants in Germany - you will never been disappointed. In your hotel, quality of the meals is NOT good and should be improved. Your restaurant meal and drink prices are extremely high and quality is low. I feel abuse when I need to pay 9 Euros for a small beer in your bar. Your profit expectation on drinks is too high. Think about it seriously. Is it honest to ask your customers to pay a beer 9 Euros when the bottle cost is 2-3 Euros? In Germany, a half liter beer costs maximum 4.5 Euros. Please review your offer and quality in your hotel brand in France and work on improving the overall quality. Again review the hotel offers, prices and quality in Germany and try adopt the same standard in France. Being French, I would appreciate your efforts in improving the hotel quality level in your hotel brand. At the end, you will win customers and improve your business profile

« Hotel OK, but extremely long waiting times at the restaurant »

The hotel generally corresponds to what one expects at a Novotel, and the meals are good. The big inconvenience consists in the waiting times at the restaurant - repeatedly spending over 2 hours with a normal dinner causes quite a loss of time.

I had stayed at the hotel for two months , it’s not really bad however there are few situations that I was faced and hope you would improve and make the hotel to be better place to stay. 1. The staff open a letter which was under my name. when I asked about the my letter he said he opened it because it’s in hotel address. I was so upset that they don’t respect my privacy. 2. Some of staff don’t speak very good English, it’s ok , I don’t bother with this however few of them were very rude and don’t even try to understand or help. 3. Breakfast is the same thing in everyday. And if they could add some veggie that would be perfect. Best regards
