Staff is really friendly and very serviced minded. The hotel is very old fashioned with outdated carpet all over. I was not comfortable with the security related to air conditioning filters to protect customers from covid spread especially in the rooms.

Enormous main neon sign facing main road half out of order NO .. TEL First indication of the state of this very tired hotel. Impossible to find entrance. TOTALLY DARK Sign. No way of knowing that back gate near MacDonalds leads to hotel. Had to stop at Ibis budget hotel and ask for directions. Only discovered ‘main’ entrance in the daylight in the morning. ‘Phad Thai’ an insult to Thai cuisine. Totally bland and tasteless fettuccini (not rice noodles) - had to add 2 sauces salt and pepper to get any flavour. Served with knife and fork in a bowl. And bread rolls?! (Should have been fork and spoon.) Why no uniform credit system? Mercury Republique Lyon demanded deposit. Novotel Poissy did ‘imprint’ of credit card. Accor has my credit card details, as confirmed with every reservation. I was planning to return to Mercure Republique in Lyon tomorrow but after experiencing Ibis Budget Hotel in Mantes la Jolie* and Novotel Poissy plus previous disappointing experience at Mercure Republique Lyon on 18/8/2020 my wife and I feel (sadly) it’s time to give Accor Hotels a break for a while. As an ex hotelier I expect a LOT more from Accor. Spent last night in a lovely hotel in Annecy - Best Western Plus Hôtel Carlton as we’ve lost trust in Accor.

I arrived very late in the evening after both the restaurant and bar had closed, however on check in and with my membership I was entitled to a free drink. The night check in ensured I got a bottle of water despite the late hour.

When arriving, gate was closed and di not open, after 5 minutes someone came to manually open it. My room was upgraded. Entering the room I was surprised to see the quality of the room, it was small and no extras, very basis room. FYI, Novotel Poissy Orgeval is 4 stars apparently. Restaurant was closed, so no dinner than handful of dishes in small bright lit bar, and mobile heater to get temperature to a minimum level. The chosen anjofish was served in the tin can. All at all, the atmosphere was dim, not the best stay I have had.

Noisy room + receptionist forgot to book my taxi

I had the room 160, close to reception area and next to a door. It was really noisy and woke me up early in the morning. I also asked the receptionist to book a taxi for me for the day after and he forgot. His colleague, Katia, did her best to solve it in the morning but by the time the taxi was there, I was 30 min late to my meeting.

Dinner too expensive without a real added value (Burger for 18€ just a patti with sauce!)

Room okay, at the front desk service perfect, thanks a lot restaurant: service not okay, for a german visitor there was no table water, no add-on´s for the burger and the fries (ketchup etc.)

Nice staff, the hotel surroundings are not that glamourous and some bits (corridors, stairs ,wall plasters...) are a bit outdated, but the room was spacious and the bathroom nicely refurbished.

Room assigned alreadu had a guest! Suitcase and clothes in the room. Another room was found. No thermostat for the air conditioning, plaster work in the WC disintegrating, mini fridge disconnected. A shame for an international chain of hotels.
