Very poor bar and restaurant service

Check-in was very good, however thereafter it was extremely disappointing. The bar and restaurant service was non-existing. Being an Accor member and having stayed at this hotel previously it was certainly not to the normal standard to the point where I almost cancelled my following booking 4 nights later.

not very friendly at arrival : we had to pay immediately for our room and to book our diner ( even though we had told we would have dinner there at reservation and we never paid in advance at novotels)

This hotel was up to its usual high standard clean.helpful and hospitable. Breakfast lost points overall due to limited product availability and unattentive staff.

Toilet didn’t flush. Breakfast was the worst I have ever had in a hotel. Receptionist on arrival was indifferent.

First time I've been disappointed by a Novotel

Our first room had a badly stained toilet bowl, a very dirty shower and the bed was very badly made and there was a hole in the sofa. The receptionist was very apologetic and we were given another room which was clean but was in need of an upgrade. Although the reception area was new and very nice. My only other comment is there was no bacon or ham available at breakfast time to go with the scrambled egg
