« Good value »

This is a convenient place to stay on a journey between Burgundy and the Channel Tunnel. The hotel has been refurbished and is very comfortable and good value for money. Although it is an airport hotel there is very little aircraft noise. Good meals in the restaurant. There was no scrambled egg at breakfast, which is unusual for a Novotel, may be this was a one off. Dog friendly. Plenty of parking.

« This is the oldest and first hotel of the Accor group but don't expect anything special. »

Outside look is not good with great cracks on the front wall and inside there are no elevator/lift to the first floor bedrooms. When we got there after checkin-in the young man at the reception let me put all my gear on a trolley, although he knew he had given me a first floor bedroom, he let me push all my stuff to the bottom of the stairs, look for a lift and comeback to the reception to ask for the lift He then informed me there was none. I could see he was mocking me and that put me off immediately. This is disrespectful and unprofessional. In the room the safe was not working and although the room was for three persons we only got two sets of pillows and towels. Not very welcoming and makes you feel like you're not expected. Upon asking the staff at the reception for the complement, we where told that it was normal to only have two sets for three patrons...Having been a silver member of the group's fidelity program I know this is to be untrue. The girl at the reception was more interested in having the last word than really making me feel welcome. The restaurant was closed, there were not enough patrons, we were told, to open it, that was very disappointing and not a little bit off-putting. The staff at the reception was smiling but not really friendly, the young man seemingly more interested in chatting with his female co-worker than anything else She was way off his league anyway... Overall not a good stay, considering the four stars we would have hoped for a better service. We didn't get a good impression of the hotel and its staff overall. Convenient location though and plenty of nice restaurants for all taste in close proximity.

Absolutely my favorite hotel near our office. Always feel welcome due to the friendly attitude from the staff. The hotel bar feels like being in a living room and the hotel rooms are always tidy and quiet.

« The food is not good enough at all »

I have stayed quite a few times in your Lille hotel over the last few years as the Tesla Superchargers are very convenient. I stayed alone and at other times with my two oldest sons and we ate at the restaurant and the bar at numerous occasions. It is fair to say that apart from the frites every single dish was below average – even more steaks, salads and beef carpaccio. Greasy, dripping in oil. The pasta that we ate at the bar – admittedly quite late past 9pm – was overcooked and had far too much cream in it. Surely getting simple freshly cooked pasta al dente should be possible in a 4-star hotel. Very disappointing given that the rooms themselves and breakfast really are great value for money. Definitely muuuuuch room for improvement in this area.

This hotel is not so massive as some other hotels are. The entrance makes you feel welcome and the area around the bar/restaurant looks just like a living room. The staff is very friendly, the rooms look nice and the restaurant serves good food. Great hotel for staying.

« It was ok »

It was nice in general. No unpleasant surprises. There was nothing in the minibar except a bottle of water and just one although we were 2 staying in the room. The safe didn't work. I informed twice then by chance met some staff in the corridor and showed him. I thought the battery could be dead. They changed the battery I assume but it still didn't work. I had to carry my stuff on me which I really would have liked to avoid, specially when waling in the crowded city.

Modern hotel in a great location for the airport, football stadium, yet only 10mins drive from Lille Europe train station. Very friendly staff too. I was allowed a late check out which was very helpful this time around. Only negative was the lack of room service after 14.30 which isn’t highlighted properly in the rooms. But overall a great hotel that I use regularly.

« Great with Tesla Supercharger as bonus. »

Very nice as always and the Tesla Supercharger is our regular reason to stop over night before heading to London the day after.

« Very good, enjoyed it. »

Good check in, helpful staff. Nice hotel. Nice swimming pool, but could do with a pool heater. Could improve by blocking off some of the surroundings with tree cover. More milk and English tea needed in the rooms. Otherwise, had a lovely time. One complaint is that the guarantee payment on my debit card is still showing as pending, 2 days after check out, even though I paid when checking out.

I stayed here once before about 15 years ago. The hotel has been completely refurbished. The rooms are modern. The restaurant has been extended and has walls of mainly gless overlooking the garden. The bar is modern and comfortable. There are no signs to the hotel at the roadside, which made it a bit difficult to find, unlike otheer Accor hotels in the same area.

« Lovely hotel but no aircon- terrible night! »

Nice place - good bar and restaurant and lovely outdoor space. However, air con did not work properly and has one of the worst nights sleeps ever! Bed was itchy and think had bed bugs - as covered in bites the next day!
