Spacious, contemporary and perfectly adaptable, the Novotel room is a true living space and can be adapted to suit all requirements. All our rooms measure at least 269 sq. ft. (25 sq. m) and have double beds measuring 59" (150 cm) and WIFI. All rooms have a bathtub or shower and separate toilet. The staff in the evening were surly and unpleasant with one exception Those in the morning were completely different and couldn't have been more helpful

OK Experience, but not brilliant

Hotel was fully booked and very busy. Compared to previous stays at this hotel, the staff was less helpful. We, an elderly couple, were told that there is no elevator to get our heavy bags to our room. No help was offered. In the room the safe was not working, Coffe machine was initially not working - we had to climb under the table to see that it was unplugged. Just not the care and attention I had been used to in a Novotel (paying €150 a night). Apart from that, room size was good and other appliances working. Just not as pefect as we had experienced it during earlier stays.

Room all right, not so food of restaurant

My wife and I are travelling all over the world and regularly from England, where we live, to Italy by car, stopping normally at two Novotels : St Avold and Reims alternatively. We feel that the food on offer is poor and not in line with what it should be for customers that are travelling. There must be at least one choice of soupe (vegetable, onion, bisque). Then some simple pasta type (tomato, butter sage, ragou). Escalope veal and s tartare all right. Omelettes. Then whatever regular business visitors like. The service though, was all right.

Satisfactory until checkout : Hotel has not returned 300 Euro Pre-Authorisation taken from my account

As above : Have stayed many times at this hotel. On this occasion, was asked for 300 Euro Pre-Authorisation Guarantee. Paid this on a Mastercard. This amount was not returned at the end of my stay, and now, three days after my departure, I have still not received the 300 Euro from Novotel Reims. Called hotel, told payment should have been returned, still waiting.

We have stayed here for many years on our way to the south, various little things go wrong but nothing serious. The staff are always friendly and more importantly very approachable , they treat you like a guest and not, as some hotels, a nuisance . Food is good with a full menu available for room service. One thing that has nearly put me off staying there is the ridiculous rise from 10 Euro to 25 Euro for a pet, this charge will of course put a lot of pet owners off, but maybe that's what they want.

Another excellent stay at this hotel. Staff are always very helpful and the rooms are always hygienically clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was also very good and a good menu and wine choice.

A Good Hotel

We have stayed at this hotel many times on our way to the south, and have always had a friendly welcome. The hotel appears clean albeit a bit tired in places. One thing that has annoyed me is an exorbitant charge of over 20 Euro for a pet, this is way more than any other hotel we've stayed in. The reception staff are always excellent

Good stay, nice breakfast and bar area. Room a little too warm even at the end of October and the window open - air conditioning does not work in these hotels

Really comfortable stay with clean rooms . The hotel is perfectly located close to the A26 and is easy acces to almost all the tourist places in Reims There is ample parking at the hotel and there is a big hyper market and fuel station nearby The restaurant is adequate and the breakfast spread is good . All in all a very good hotel to stay if you are in and around Reims or the Champagne county

Overall the hotel was quite ok, however everything was overshadowed by the air conditioning not working. It was so hot in the room that some of us barely slept all night. Thankfully, we only had to stay one night.

Nice room - comfy bed. In Covid times picnic in room is necessary so the desk on wheels converted to dining table is novel - 2 downsides - even with Covid would have expected better selection of red wines. Receptionist running hotel by herself did well - other down side is, particularly not being able use public areas,the lack of English language tv channels.
