« Not Worth the Price I Paid »

For the average cost of over €150 per night for room and breakfast I would have expected better level of accommodation. I was checked into floor 3 but the button on the lift didn't operate to floor 3.Breakfast was poor to average standard with children allowed to lie on the floor with other guests trying to enjoy breakfast. I don't expect this for the price paid. There was no ice available in the bar for drinks at night. This is surely something that can be arranged with some planning.

« Cheerful Staff and Enjoyable Upgrade »

Overall it wass a very good stay, although the Elevator had some issue and I could not use it to move to level 3, it was nevertheless not bad as I did not have too mch luggage, I was also given the option to change the room, but I did not mind so I kept my upgraded Premium Room and had a relaxing stay.

« The Restaurant has to be improved : small choise, long waiting, high prices ; room was good and also cleaning was perfect »

Restaurant is supposed to be opened during day time. I arrived in the hotel at 2.30 pm and the only chance to have some food was a soup. I paid cash and, once in the room, had a call from the reception saying that I left without paying. In the evening I waited more than 30min to have a salad. Same sotry the evening after. Third evening I went to VAPIANO, opposite the road .

« Very dissapointing »

Not according a 4* hotel standard. The airconditiong was not cooling the room, no cool air coming from it (already in Winter position?). Outside it was 26 degrees. If you open the window there is a lot of noise from the traffic. The restaurant was only serving buffet dinner. It should be mentioned on your site. No a la carte restaurant is a reason not to book the hotel. I booked the hotel because of the renovated rooms, the airco and the a la carte restaurant. 2 out of 3 were not there. Very unprofessional and very dissapointing. I will never book here again.

« It was a pleasant stay. »

Breakfast was good though at times it wasn't as fresh as expected. Staff on duty need to pay more attention to items that needed replenishing (such as bread for toast, bacon and boiled/scrambled eggs). Room was cleaned well and nobody bothered us too early. The kids felt welcome and the playmobil toy was a nice surprise. The fact that they could play in the garden and sandpit was a bonus. The playroom is a nice idea however it needs more care and to be cleaner. I like the fact that you're trying to be environmentally friendly but at the same time there is a waste of little bottles used for shampoo and shower gel wash. A dispenser would be much more environmentally friendly.

1 night stay with kids on holiday to Croatia. Hotel easy to find and good parking facility. Room was clean. Big setback was no kids menu for dinner :( Breakfast very good.

« Nice, but breakfast seemed to be somewhat stressed »

Nice stat. Good accommodations. Given we arrived late in the evening we were able to get a meal and a personal service from the bar/kitchen personel - that was a pleasent surprise. The breakfast however seemed to be somewhat in a hurry and as we are used to Novotel we were lacking a bit f.ex. Fried eggs and a chef doing omelets. But all in all a nice stay

« Less noise and less parking fees, please »

We normally use Novotel or Ibis for our stop-overs on our way to Italy, but this time we booked at Mercure. We experienced much more noise from adjacent room, than we ever had on the other hotels. I don't like your parking fee policy, as we only park in a totally open and unprotected parking place.

I appreciate mosty the support from the receptionist in Ibis budget. I called Ibis budget in Nurnberg first, asking for a room on the next day. I was told that the hotel was fullly booked. Then the receptionist proposed to make a reservation in Fuerther Mercury. In a 15minute call he managed to arrange all - reserve the room, send me acknowledgement, politely explanined rules of reservation, prices... this was a very professional approach for a person who needs help and support. This happened in the evening on June 4th. Please give my thanks to the receptionist.
