« A GOOD VISIT ADMIST STORM DENNIS »

Despite the raging of Storm Dennis a really good visit made all the more enjoyable by the launch of "'ALL': Accor, Live, Limitless" on the first evening of our four day stay. Relaxing and chatting with the hotel staff over a drink set everything off to a great start. We look forward to our next visit.

Had a great relaxing overnight stay at the Novotel Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, colourful including additional facilities with a bath, safety deposit locker and fridge. Friendly staff offering good quality service with an option for vegetarian/vegan food in the evening meal restaurant. Enjoyed my stay, thank you.

« Special Request ignored but otherwise a lovely stay »

Booked online and requested someone contact me to arrange champagne and flowers for our room, as it was a Valentines stay and I wanted to add an extra special treat for my partner. However I got no reply at all to my request, even when chasing it up via the hotel’s social media platforms. Despite that, we had a lovely stay, the room was good value, spacious and well equipped, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

« Much better »

After a few complaints about quality of food and a few other bits, stayed recently and a new head chef has come into the equation. The food is excellent, the presentation, flavour and improvement made it worth dining in for a change instead of going out to other establishments. As always the staff are excellent, Jess always has a massive smile that is brilliantly welcoming, Chris always makes effort to wave and say hello. And im really sorry i cant remember her name, but the dark haired lady that does breakfast service is a credit to you in the mornings, she pretty much single handedly keeps all your customers happy. So, compared to my last review, where I practically pulled the entire lower floor over hot coals. This was brill, thanks for sorting it and credit to your head chef. Whoever they are, theyve made a real difference in that area.

« Comfortable stay overall »

Most of the staff were very welcoming, notably Shauna, Katie, Ben, Isabella, n Jess were always cheerful and had no problem helping me in any way I needed. Rooms were always cleaned and tidy. The food was a little repetitive at first but a new chef started so the specials menu improved 10 folded. Thanks again to all the staff.

« Nice Hotel to stay at »

I frequently visit this Hotel as it is near our Nottingham Office. The staff are friendly and efficient with the rooms good value for money. The evening meals are fine for a tired traveller and the breakfasts are excellent. The Hotel is nicely situated so close to the M1 and other significant junctions to the West, North West and South West.

« Well located, but a queen size bed is 2 twins pushed together »

Hi Sarah, I'd like to say that my stay at your hotel was very nice and well presented. But when I and my partner came to go to bed we then found that we was slipping down the middle of the bed with great discomfort... this led to us having a really bad sleep which we did not really expect as we read the artillery as a queen bed, meaning that the problem we had shouldn't really have had happened. I hope there is some kinda of resolution offered by yourself as itd be a shame to be left with a bad taste in our mouth from your hotel. Yours faithfully Hugh M.

« Staff are always friendly and nothing was any trouble »

Stay for 7 weeks while on a training course. When I first came stay I wasn’t made aware by bar staff ( Sam) that there was a special menu. Which would have been good to know as evening menu wasn’t that good. Once I was told by colleagues on my course on the second week that there was a special menu meal times was a lot better. Im sure a new chef is in place a the food definitely was much better and could always find something nice to eat. The staff who served at breakfast were always really nice an welcoming sorry didn’t catch there names. Reception staff Katie, Jess always nice and friendly like to give a big thank you to Seana for the lovely card she gave to the DB Cargo staff when we left. Katie and young guy with glasses were brilliant on our last night setting up Ticklers bar for our quiz nice gesture and it’s the little things you remember. My room was always well clean and even though I didn’t meet the cleaners they left the rooms spotless everyday. Barman Sam was I let down for me at start as never really looked like he wanted to serve or interact with me and other guys on my course (10 of us). But saying that the last two weeks he did make more of a effort and was chatting and more friendly. Thing is he only started after another guy on course Wrote a review about him being unfriendly.

Seana jess hamad n Laura great welcome on arrival . Isabella really welcoming and friendly. Sam needs to improve his interaction with guests. Sadly George left during my stay he was really great with all guests. Ellie kati Jared ben always went above and beyond to cater for my needs in the restaurant. Kathryn was very accommodating and listened to what was being requested and put thus forward to Janet and her chefs. Francis and Amanda had the breakfast area on tip top shape every morning.

« Great location and good value for money »

My wife and I have stayed at the hotel several times in the past, but we were amazed at the transformation since our last visit. The lobby, bar and restaurant areas have been modernised and look very fresh and inviting. We had booked a standard bedroom, but a lot of money must have been spent on its overall redecoration and the installation of the completely new shower-room facilities. We had a great night's sleep and enjoyed a hearty English breakfast the next morning. Friendly staff, too.

« Great stay, Great people, great atmosphere! »

I’ve stayed in the Novotel for 9 week now, the majority of the staff have been absolutely superb. Always very welcoming and have a nice friendly chat with you. Seana and Jess have are the two names that come to mine however all staff have been great. All going well, hopefully I will make a return soon. As always, Peace, love and pigs.

« Great Stay »

The room was lovely, I especially like having a fridge in my room as I do drink a lot of water and cold cans of pop etc. The toilet roll holder was very loose and looked like it would soon fall off if you caught it. For breakfast I would really have liked the option of being able to have an omelette as I don't really eat many other breakfast items and would normally order an omelette when I stay in hotels but I was told they don't do them. I left my mobile phone on my chair after breakfast and didn't realise for about 20 minutes so was very relieved to find out that the waiter had picked it up and handed it in to reception which was great that the staff are so honest (they aren't everywhere). Overall I did have a nice stay and I would stay again.
