This is my 2nd visit to the hotel because I was impressed during my first stay. However, the 2nd stay turned to be just an okay stay. I stayed for the 2nd stay for 2 nights, and on my 2nd day I got called when I was on my way to our room by one of the staffs and he was asking me questions like what I was doing, if he can help me with something, in which room I was staying because he didnt recognise me (funny enough, there were only few guests, and he didnt recognize somebody was staying at the hotel). To me this is fine and still acceptable. However what is disappointing was that the personnel was asking me questions and playing tennis table in the lobby at the same time (and also during working hours). This would be acceptable if I was staying in a family owned B&B somewhere in the middle of nowhere in South East Asia or Eastern Europe, but I would not expect to see personnels playing tennis table in the lobby during working hours, and also visible to the guests in a Novotel in Western Europe. I can fully understand that the hotel is quite because of the pandemic, but you can't put all the blame to the pandemic. You need to put professionalism as an embedded value, and not with an excuse.

Due to the low occupancy, staff is allowed to play ping pong as this is active and cheerful occupation. However, it should never be the case that this shifts away the focus on the most important: You as our guest. Overall, I found many of the staff members to be unfriendly, unhelpful, and sometimes rude.

The hotel is very clean and well laid out. They are doing well to comply with social distancing. The rooms are very nicely decorated. Just 2 things let it down. The noise of the water pipes in the walls (all night) and the staff thinking they are more important than the guests.

This hotel offers everything you need. The rooms are simple designed, modern, bed comfortable, bathroom with spacious walk in shower. The whole hotel is spotless clean, even the facilities outside of the room are ship shaped. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. Great connection to the airport and city centre. I’d stay again.

Hotel felt a little empty. The teams were great in explaining all changes due to the situation. Breakfast was good, lucky there wasn't too many people though as the system would look a bit tedious with a crowd. Parking was quite pricey compared to everything else.

I spend over 100 nights a year in hotels. This is the best Novotel by far, a great refurb and I hope the template for many others. There are two things which let it down and would make me reflect strongly about not returning. The cost of parking is frankly, taking the piss., Eur 30 is simply outrageous. Secondly, while the reception staff were very pleasant, they didn't really know what they were doing and everything took a long time to sort out, despite the hotel being quite quiet.

Bad service, cheap and cheat

- cheat on room service charge, Adding item we never ordered/received. when pointed out via email/message (hotel preferred comm. channel in corona), there’s no reply/feedback. Until i had to complained again, directly to receptionist. - breakfast was pitiful. A tray of 3 stale bread, 2 fruits, 1 boiled egg, 2 slices of hams and cheese in cheap plastic wrap, a watered down small glass of juice... every morning they tried to sell a 5 eur fried egg.... what a cheap act! - Employees were impolite, some looks demotivated and bored working there. Bartender refused to served welcome drink just because we entered from “wrong side” of the bar... never been turned down in any hotel, novotel is the new low and i’ll make sure to never stay there anymore!

I stayed for 5 nights in june 2020 during the covid 19 restrictions and distancing. Hotel staffers extremely welcoming and friendly. Went out of their way to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Extremely clean and smart hotel and staff that compliment the hotel. Will definitely stay there again

Very Welcoming. Shop in the Foyer is a nice Touch but Very Expensive. Again, as above All the Staff Very Friendly. Location is Ideal. Rooms nice. I was put in the 10th Floor . Issue with a Dog Next Door which had been left on its own in the Adjoining Room which was dealt with immediately. Under the present Close down restrictions amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, I thought the Hotel Handled it very Well. Sadly due to this my Company pulled me out and I had to head back to the UK.
