Very Welcoming. Shop in the Foyer is a nice Touch but Very Expensive. Again, as above All the Staff Very Friendly. Location is Ideal. Rooms nice. I was put in the 10th Floor . Issue with a Dog Next Door which had been left on its own in the Adjoining Room which was dealt with immediately. Under the present Close down restrictions amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, I thought the Hotel Handled it very Well. Sadly due to this my Company pulled me out and I had to head back to the UK.

I stayed for 2 nights (was planning longer but COVID cut it short). I found all the staff very helpful and pleasant especially Alzeem?(spelling) who brought me some more tea bags- (what a highly personable and genuine young man) and counter staff who helped when I had to leave unexpectedly. Lovely hotel. I would certainly look forward to staying again when next in Amsterdam. Great park across the road too, very pleasant memories of my brief stay in your city-thanks.

Ideal for a short term stay

I required somewhere to stay for one night and this hotel was perfect in terms of location and accessibility. I was able to reach the hotel in around 15 minutes from the airport via train and it was located within a 15 minute walk from where I needed to be. The staff were extremely professional and a pleasure to interact with. My room was comfortable and more than spacious enough for one person with all the amenities that I required.

The extra bed/sofa for our son was terrible. He slept there for the first night and I the next two. The sofa was so hard that I could barely sleep so the experience was very bad. I have been at th the hotel 3 or 4 times and really liked it but this time it was terrible so I canr recommend to stay there for 3 persons in the same room

I had a great stay. Ordered room service couple of times, delivery was swift, food tasty although portions could have been bigger considering the prices. Room was clean and well equiped for my needs. The only big remark is awful free WiFi. I know you have the premium option for 10eur per day (way too expensive comparing to all other hotels and destinations I've been) but you can't allow yourselves having 5Mb shared open connection in 2020.

Never had such a good breakfast in an hotel. For every culture delicious. Great room, especially for my handicapped husband a great bathroom.

Fine hotel - bad service afterward

I had a fine experience at the hotel. However, there was problems with the payment of city tax. This ended up, by me and my friends both paying the city tax on 50.92 euro. Afterwards I have called the hotel 4 times, where people hung up on me, or send me to the wrong people. Now I have finally gotten and email to write to, but they answered back really quick, that they only can see one payment for city tax. However, me and my friends bank has confirmed that we both have paid the same amount on the same time. I wrote this to the hotel the 12th of March, and have not hears anything back yet. We don’t want to pay this tax double. Can someone please send me to the right person, so we can get our money back?

Very good service at the reception and breakfast buffet staff was friendly. The restaurant was a disappointment, food was average and hardly any lactose free options and the service in the evening in the restaurant wasn’t the best. The reception staff was really honestly REALLY welcoming, helpful and friendly!!! Made me feel very appreciated. Thank you!

Hygiene problem to be solved urgently

I have reported the following hygiene problem at check-out and in an email to the GM and both reports remain unanswered at this time. I stayed at the hotel for the Logistics CIO conference from 10 to 12 of march. After taking my shower on the 11h I noticed a stain on the bath towel and put it on the floor so that it could be changed for the next day (this is an obvious way to communicate that the guest wants a change of towel). Next day I noticed after taking my shower and drying me with the bath towel that it was bearing the same stain: the towel that I dropped to the floor had not been changed. It was indeed picked up from the floor, folded and put back on the holder. I was surprised by this lack of hygiene in the context of the current pandemia. Accor hotels "Acting Here - Planet 21" leaflet, available in each room, says "This hotel proposes you to reuse your towels..." and at the back "Leave your towels on the holders". Well, this is good for the environment for sure and I 100% agree. However when a towel is dirty what is the procedure ? I though that it was to put it on the floor. Is it necessary to make a formal request by call or face to face to the front-desk ? In this case it should be clearly mentioned in the leaflet as a standard procedure. I would appreciate that you respond to this query and do not blame the staff because I think it is obviously a matter of procedure and not good will of the staff. In the current viral crisis I think hotels must put in place rigorous hygiene procedures to protect the health of their staff and their guests and I am wondering if this hotel is taking it really seriously. Thank you for your answer.

Clean and well maintained. Staff not all knowledgeable e.g re the 5 euro coupon one person said I cannot use it for breakfast but the breakfast people said why not? and they took it, they should all have the same info. The other person said I cannot deduct it from my room the other said yes I can.

I think presence of a nice piano with a good Proffional pianist with good knowledge of most of countries music, will keep and attract the guests in the hotel most of the day Some times a well known pianist will be happy and satisfied to play piano as well as all your guests
