First of all, The entry to the hotel itself was difficult. There were road constructions around the hotel and we were searching for the hotel entrance. It took arroud 10-15 minutes to find the entry. They should keep some temporary sign board during this construction work so that customer can reach the hotel easily. The room what's shown in website and in real were not matching. We got a room where window lighting is poor & windows are very dirty. The toilet has no jet. Only Bidet is provided which we are not used to. No Extra pillows, No Plug points near bed, No alarm clock. No Tissue Box, Very small rooms. This is the worst one I have stayed in recent times. Will never stay in this hotel again nor will recommend to anyone.

It's my 3rd time at Mercure Doha...good location, good staff and near for Souq and Msheireb station and downtown. Amazing Restaurants, coffee and places to visit in this part of the city...Souq and Cornish is a few minutes by walking.

Grand Mercure Hotel was good before the Covid 19 days. But now, I have one of the worst experience regarding the Hotel. Thr room was not clean, barhroom have some foul smell and have old furniture, remembering us of the 80's. After an hour that I checked in, water started to pour from the ceiling. I have contacted Reception and they send technician to repair. After around 2 hours they left. They have changed the room and the new one is no better than the other one. It have full of dust, bathroom have the same faul smell. The food was worst than the quarantine hotels.

I’m not happy with the whole experience

I booked two nights through Accor All App, unfortunately the room I was given was very poor and I was really shocked when I entered it. First, the furniture is very old and worn out. Secondly, A/C does not work. Third, there are no sleeping pillows or bath towels! I contacted the reception and they told me that there are no refurbished rooms available at the time of my stay. In fact, I only spent 3 hours and left the hotel and went to the house of one of my relatives near the hotel to sleep there. The next day I went to the hotel and I spoke with a nice person at the reception and he told me that there are many newly renovated rooms with a view of the pool and actually I was moved to one of the rooms. I am sad that I had the worst night in a Mada hotel in my life, and sad that I was not informed of the availability of many rooms during my stay. I feel like I paid for the night and didn't benefit from anything. I will return next January 2022 to Doha to stay for three days and I am not thinking now to book a fee with you, as I do not want to repeat this sad experience somehow. Excellent staff, excellent location. Only hinderence to experience was a neighbouring guest 2 rooms away smoking in evenings resulting in cigarette smell through a/c while a non smoking floor. Enforcement of no smoking tolerance on non smoking floor would be a suggestion

Two things to be highlighted 1: They are provide very small room which is not confortable for me... I make complaint then they changed me to 10 th floor another room. 2...This room AC not working. I heard that this room was out of order before, but they given the same room for me. Then technician came and checkes ac and told me to change the room. So again changed the room at 10 pm. This is totally unacceptable... As a platinum customer like me they treated on this way....
