As expected. Efficient, comfortable room and good breakfast. Only problem was noisy guest in adjoining room, soundproofing not good.

My last 2 visits have been disappointing. 4th September the evening meal was of poor quality. My stay on 10th September was also poor quality. On this occasion I contacted hotel in advance regarding facilities available and was advised restaurant was closed. I asked if the next door restaurant was open and told yes. On my arrival was given a voucher for Le Bouchier, but the restaurant was fully booked. The only option was to use a nearby restaurant which was only ok. The next door restaurant to the hotel was closed. Our bathroom neede some upgrade as the lintel across base of shower was unfitted and I replaced it myself. The welcome from the reception desk was a brisk hello. I have stayed at many of hotels over the last 30 years and will continue to do so, as 98% of the visits have been excellent.

Stayed at Ibis Limoges North driving from Calais to Bergerac. Easy to find, located very conveniently to A20, plenty of free parking. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms quiet, clean and functional. Good selection of items available for breakfast. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance for evening meals. Asian, pizza, traditional grill, Italian, steakhouse and fast food. Have used before and won’t hesitate to stay again.

I have stayed at Ibis hotels for many years, particularly this one, and have found them very good. On this occasion it was disappointing. I know there are difficult times, but the evening meal my wife and I had was of very poor quality. This was well below the usually good standard.

Hello, There have been some changes since our stay in September 2020, pleased to say that they are mainly positive. Primarily the restaurant area has been updated and the Lady who served us was excellent. The perfect combination of efficiency and friendliness which was a great improvement over our last stay. In the room the aircon was very efficient and not noisy. The bed was really comfortable a real pleasure after driving in excess of 700kms that day. An Enjoyable stay, thank you.

Our stay was short but enjoyable. The staff were helpfull and friendly. The rooms were clean and, as we are in the middle of a Covid Crisis, that is very important. Covid restrictions were strictly adherered to by all staff.

Nous comprenons votre interrogation et incompréhension quant à nos procédures.Les réservations avec un tarif prépayé s'effectuent sur un site sécurisé dont nous n'avons pas accès aux cartes bancaires. D'où le fait que ma collaboratrice vous ait demandé votre carte. Je vous présente toutes nos excuses pour cette expérience négative que je peux comprendre. Mais c'est avec plaisir que je remarque que vous nous n'en avez pas tenu rigueur dans votre note et je vous en remercie fortement. Quant au bruit de la climatisation, nous allons vérifier cela et voir ce que l'on peut faire. We normally stay at Ibis Hotels as we travel to and from our holiday home in France. This was our first experience of Ibis Limoges Nord and it was a pleasant one. Under the present circumstances we felt they had done all they could to make guests feel safe and breakfast was well organised and enjoyable. The restaurant is closed in an evening but there is plenty of choice close by.

Terrible ventilation, bad sleep quality & inexperienced staff

Should be a good place to stop as it's just next to the motorway. But the a/c system was useless and we could not sleep. Was finally given a fan for the room and managed 4 hours sleep. Then had to drive large commercial vehicles tired the next day. Am still waiting for our refund and an apology from the useless staff.

After a long drive through heavy rain it was nice to arrive at the hotel and receive a friendly welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, the walk-in shower looked too be new, there was plenty of hot water. The buffet style breakfast was more than sufficient with choices for everyone. We would certainly stay here again.

Almost everything was as good as normal and as expected. Minor issues with the Family Comfort Room in that there was only one “normal” tea bag and 4 flavoured ones. Also no sweeteners. Luckily we took spares ourselves as well as additional coffee pods.

This was suposed to be an overnight stop on way from Spain to the UK. We had stayed before and it was acceptable. Paid in advance. Mistake. Room was at side of property with noises from other rooms all night. Old carpet, needed cleaning, and no other rooms available ( as they were not cleaned ).Asked reception to store my medication in fridge. They had done this before without problem. This time they froze it in the freezer, despite assuring us that they would not. Offered a coffee as compensation.After a while, the only person there arranged for duplicate medication from a local pharmacy at our expense. They gave us some of our money back in hotel points, as they had no access to the company money either on a credit or debit transfer.It is a big problem, as if I had taken the medication after it had defrosted, it could have killed me. The hotel did not seem to understand this.So if you want to dice with death, and end up out of pocket this is the hotel for you !!They did refund the room though. ( but that still left us out of pocket ) - and not covered by our insurance as a third party did the freezing.Head office never replied. Not happy as we are Platinum status with the hotel group.
