Good location

A convenient and satisfactory stay. The room was clean and of a reasonable standard. The first breakfast was of a good standard. Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus we were given breakfast bags for the next two days. We of course understood why this was necessary but the quality of the contents were very disappointing. 1 piece of fruit, 1 madeleine, 1 carton of juice and 1 small cake. Was this genuinely supposed to replace a breakfast to the value of 9€? I find that difficult to believe. Otherwise our stay was satisfactory.
Good location between Versailles Exhibition Halls and centre of Paris

THE HOTEL WAS NICE BUT THE ROOM WAS DIRTY, MY BATH TOWELS WERE NOT CHANGED AND THE ROOM WAS DURTY AND DUSTY

The facility was really nice and not so far from the subway station. The hotel staff at the reception was fast and competent, but in the first room I was assigned to (621) the hairdryer was not functioning thus I was assigned to another room. The second (700) was dirty, dusty and the overall was not well maintained: the floor and the paint on the walls were scraped, the curtains were not totally in place and the door was not closing - the lock was malfunctioning and it prevented the door from closing, which is of course a great security issue. The fact that I couldn't stand -and which I found quite disgusting- was founding out that my towels were not changed or replaced with dirty ones. This prevented me from having a shower until I found a place where to buy a robe. I asked the reception for new towels but they only gave me one of them which of course is not sufficient for both a shower and the normal usage. I wonder if the blanket and the cushions were changed during my stay and in general -and the thought of having slept in bed sheets used by someone else is appalling and quite disgusting. My staying at the Paris Porte de Orleans was at least disappointing and my trust in your hotel chain was broken: I've slept in your hotels many times before and I always found both the service and the rooms impeccable, this experience definitely made me reconsider my choice.
Pleasant and helpful staff

The rooms were clean and the beds fresh and comfortable if slightly narrow. Spent the first night in a room on the 9th floor where the shower didn't know whether it was coming or going and the shower room did not smell all that fresh, but the staff were very understanding and happy to move me to an acceptable room on a different floor very quickly. The rooms were a little cramped and could do with renovation reflecting the very reasonable price perhaps. The hotel name, IBIS Porte d'Orlean, is a little deceptive. The hotel is actually in a pleasant enough location, but in Montrouge (a suburb of Paris) just outside Boulevard Periphérique and a 10 to 15 minute walk from any of the RER and métro stations, although bus no. 125 passes by the hotel if any use.
