Condensation in the bathroom was unpleasant.

Staff was nice. But no room service, No baggage handler (at that price), No internet in my room all over the stay, neither in the hall during the last two days, and the worst part was when we were asked to pay for the whole stay before we could get to our rooms. After a long travel to Abidjan, totally exhausted, this certainly wasn't the best way to welcome us.

I would like to thank the security, All was top from arrival to departure welcome from security after spending 31 hours in flight. from New York in USA to Dubai Abidjan, hotel security At the entrance it is impressive, they are really caring, and big thanks to Housekeeping, My room always clean it’s amazing, as the first experience at ibis HOTEL, regarding the reception from my point of view, my experience is not entirely pleasant, starting from the check in! after two days of my stay, I come to the reception on the night time, i request move to the higher floor, and the employee confirm at me that they will move me tomorrow to the fifth floor, The next day in the evening I come to the reception to make a payment of my bill, and I told them I request to move last night, and your colleague told me the room will be ready today on the fifth floor, than she said they don’t have any information about me to move, and I told her last night your colleague told me I can move to the fifth floor today, and she told me we don’t have room in fifth floor, but if I want they will move me to the seven floor, or third floor,I didn’t move, because i get disappointed, but I think Employees must communicate with each other, it is very important…… but I am very happy for the stays, I thank all the employees of ibis HOTEL

The food wasn't really good and quite expensive. The bathroom was not smelling very good and the overall room looks quite old.

Breakfast is the entry point to a good start of your day. When you pick up a cup to take hot water from Coffee machine and instead of hot water, you discover that a cockroach has just dropped into your cup of tea, it is disgusting. The whole experience was spoiled because of that very incident showing a lack of hygiene in the restaurant.

Hotel is nice and well cleaned but the room is not as well equipped there were no fridge nor a water boiler and when I asked for them the hotel provided me with a water boiler and a realy old rusty fridge. Also the dinner menu of the restaurant doesn't has a variety of items to choose from.

Staff are all very friendly! The room is clean and pleasant. Restaurant is fine. Just internet, it was not good but I was offered another room, and there it was better. IMPORTANT TIP: to reduce emission, do as the best hotels do and suggest to guests the option to re-use towels.

Lock out system when is not paid is a shame and lack of respect for the customers. Very poor internet connection in rooms, smelly rooms in Abidjan, broken toilets, leacking shower, cheap soap liquid that gives rashes, terrible and cheap and ridiculous flooring in rooms, noisy and wild restaurant and hall at the reception area. Above all, interior poor sécurity. I did feel secured. I was threatened and insulted by one of the guest at the hotel, proof of the threat was showed to the reception and ibis plateau, Abidjan failed to take action and expell the author of the threats.

I have followings points. 1.First time ,i did not find the TEA/Coffee inside room. I always used to get in Hotel IBIS in west Africa counties. 2. No bottled water inside room. This is normal in all hotel. 3. On Accor site ,for night price was mentioned USD 635.61 (353,400 CFA). However when i reached hotel and pay by USD cash, they have collected USD 692.94. They told 1USD = 510CFA. This was strange for me.

Good location in business district, but property facilities need improvement

Very good location in Plateau- nearby to most business houses and corporates. But Hotel interior and exterior needs major renovation works. The rooms need fresh coats of paint and toilets need to be refurbished. Front desk always have one person only and he/she is overcrowded. Need 2 people there- at least one dedicated for premium Accor members. At the time of booking, the Accor app showed free airport shuttle but actually no shuttle service was provided- which is inconvenient.
