My stay was good. The area was quiet and the staff were nice. The breakfast was very good. The hotel need to be renewed, and things like towels are quite old.

« Convenient stay in Abidjan »

2 nights stay in the hotel. Personal at reception, kitchen and the security was super friendly and helped a lot. Food was good, breakfast buffet was outstanding with a lot of variety. Shuttle bus service to and from airport was very convenient and punctual. Area is safe. Room (bed and bathroom) was clean. Overall, our stay was very nice. However, hotel needs a bit renovation, maybe painting and replacing the carpets in the rooms because they are a bit spotted.

It was evident that there is a "cut expense" exercise going on. From ordering a 4 item salad when avocado, chickpeas were not available; at a breakfast, eggs were not available, a tasteless 4 fromage pasta to the point I asked the waiter for some gruyère, one supper I asked for 25cl white wine, I was brought red wine instead as there was no white wine in stock, one day there was only Mutzig beer available, and unbelievable, that hotel can't provide chilled white wine, one evening the waiter felt so bad he went to the store room and put a bottle in an ice bucket, it came luke warm but I didn't complain, he tried, not his fault. I could feel the staff frustration through the all stay, it was my 5th stay and my taximan showed an another hotel that I will consider for the next visit. Internet login and stability poor

« Gives the group Accord a bad name. »

I have to say that the only thing was went well is the check-in and checkout. The front desk team is really great but when it comes to the restaurant staff it felt like they were doing you a favor. Service is very slow (had to ask for an omelet three times to 3 different people during breakfast and only came after 35mn after complaining to the manager), without a smile and pretty rude to (was asked to move two tables away because i was in the wrong section (restaurant instead of snack bar) but yet when the next customer came through and ordered the same thing he was not asked to move. Cleanliness: full need of maintenance. The floors from the reception to the restroom or the restaurant are dirty. Whatever food or water gets on that floor will stay there for hours before its cleaned even though the staff is passing it and even stepping in it. Honestly felt i didn't want to touch anything.

« A very pleasant stay »

I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome I received at the reception. The receptionist was very helpful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The breakfast is great as well and the personnel is nice. The only issue I had (even then, it was rarely, was the Internet being slow). Also, the location of the hotel is not so ideal if one wants to visit stores or wants to eat outside of the hotel as you will need to use a taxi (the taxis will also tax you plenty if you are not familiar with the prices). Overall, great experience.

I feel we should have more breakfast options. Secondly, the internet is not strong and steadily flunctuates. Thirdly, the rooms do not come with complementary coffee, water, footwear, etc. There is no fridge. The rooms are literally stark with just a bed and soap. Please work on this

The hotel and the environment is great. the staff are excellent and the service is of high standard as well. The only shortcoming as as I am concerned was weak the WIFI signal strength in my room. Keep it up.

Excellent location, excellent breakfast and dinner , but very disappointing the internet was very poor in the rooms. At least my room on the fourth floor. I reported to the receptionist twice but no any improvement.

Very often for my business travels, I like to stay the first days in a new country in the IBIS because there is no surprise and you know what you pay for. Their motto is "function before luxury" and the price-quality ratio is quite good. Generally, I enjoy their breakfasts. The only negative side: They have no room service.

The reservation system was not working well but overall the food was poor and not fresh. The condition of my room was poor. This is not the same standard of a IBIS hotel in Europe.

« 5 out of 10 , just because of the staff and the security at the hotel being nice »

The location of the hotel was good. It was easy to move around the city. The security and the hotel staff were great. Famien and Angèle were very nice. A customer would feel welcome by talking to them. The breakfast buffet was good and the 6:30-10:00 serving time is perfect. With regards to the room itself, it is a huge letting down. The TV channels were not clear, and the room was damped. The shower looked very old. Overhaul not a good experience, that explains the note of 5 out of 10

« Good Location »

The facility is the standard of Ibis. The room is simple and good enough against the cost. I'm not satisfied only with WIFI speed. They have Canal Plus including sport channel, and it was very good for me to watch UEFA Champions league at the room. But I'm not sure if we can watch English premier league. If they have the hot water kettle with tea/caffee set and the refrigerator in the room , it is very good.

« Clean hotel but shockingly repetitive food for Breakfast and dinner Buffets. »

Been visiting Ibis Plateau often over the last 3 years. The rooms are good and clean by Ibis standards for me . Staff is OK. Food is really really boring. They serve exactly the same spread for breakfast and even the same Dinner buffet for the last 3 years. I understand that the juices, fruits, breads and cornflakes will be the same. But the Hot Meals that are part of the breakfast and dinner have not changed at all in these years. I think that even the basic hotels in other countries that I've visited offer choices in Hot meals on a rotation basin, with a cycle of at least 4-5 days of repetition. It feels like visiting a Canteen at Ibis Abidjan. I can't say if all the ibis are the same. But it's really sad.

« welcoming. »

the people at the gate (security) were as nice as the receptionists. also the servers were nice. What I liked less was the LOUDNESS of the constant music. Choice of music pop/jazz with much yelling and the sound level was much too high, especially early morning at 6:30 for breakfast. Food was nice.
