Poor distressing and definitely eye opening. Staff training lacking.

The staff at the hotel were really helpful and welcoming, the hotel was very clean although the bathrooms were a little dated. There was upgrading work going on in the hotel but the contractors were polite at all times . The breakfast was excellent lots of choice and service was quick and friendly. It was an excellent location for RHS Bridgewater and only 10 mins by car to the Trafford Centre.

I was staying for 2 nights to attend a close relatives funeral. Whilst the stay was comfortable and good service it was somewhat ruined by my sister being charged £100 for parking at the hotel by bringing my mother to attend her sisters goodbye. If this can be reversed I would be more than happy to recommend Novotel to my colleagues in London

We came to stay for 2 nights for the Taylor wedding and the wedding coordinator, the bar team and waiting team were amazing and the wedding was lovely. However on our first night after checking in my 4 year old daughter was playing in the wardrobe and found nd empty cigarette packet, viagra and a bag with cocaine in it, after grabbing it from her as she thought it was sherbert and nearly put it in her mouth!!!!! My husband went down to report it and was met with a cold response from the lady on reception who seemed to be annoyed that she was bothered by him (I think she had a South African accent with dark hair, she didn't have a name badge on) Took the items from him and said what do you want me to do about it, I'll pass it to a manager and see if they will talk to you and dismissed my husband. We still haven't heard from anyone and I am disgusted with the lack of duty of care or interest in our complaint or the fact my daughter could have ingested the drugs!!!! I didn't want to make a fuss whilst at the wedding and cause the bride and groom any stress at the time but to say I am beyond furious and dissapointed with how we were treated I an understatement!!!

It's great to read that you had a fantastic time at the wedding here. The Housekeeping Manager has reminded his team on the importance of checking every 'nook and cranny' in the bedrooms. Excellent helpful & friendly staff. I attended Friday to Sunday with my wife, son, daughter & grand daughter. My other grand daughter got married @ your hotel & had the reception there also, all went well, thank you!
