Good location; v clean; friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and you must try the Greek salad! Sound proofing between floors isn't great though so lots of late night noise from above. Hence the slightly lower score.

From the moment I walked into reception and was greeted by Kasia, it was an excellent experience. Enjoyable interface with all the staff including: Max - Kasia-Claire (Bar). I had a small Tuna Baguette for supper and it was delicious. Promptly served with a slurp of wine!!! My overall experience was "FIRST-CLASS".

Staff were as pleasant and efficient as usual. Room was very clean and contained everything I needed. I liked the written explanation in the room of the way guests might find things slightly different as the hotel operated during the current circumstances.

Lovely stay after visit to Bridgewater gardens 2 miles away. No noise to spoil a good nights sleep, and plentiful options available at breakfast despite sitting down with less than half an hour remaining until service finished.

Hotel is located at a great location. Bar, restaurant & reception is very modern. Food is bearable. When you walk towards guest rooms, it feels like you are travelling back in time.

The rooms we've stayed in over the months need the carpets and curtains cleaning. They are dirty.

no control on adapted shower very stiff to control also leek which spouted out over screen. although meal was sort of good what we asked for was not adhered to. no roll and butter and had to ask for my side salad and was eventually given a large different salad.

Comfortable stay and good location for stopping point.We have stayed in the hotel several times. Staff very good and breakfast choice good. The downside was there seemed to be a stale odour in the room.

Very happy with our stay. It was excellent value for money. The bedroom was perfectly adequate and the bed was very comfortable. There was a separate toilet which we liked, although the bathroom was a bit dated but perfectly clean. The bar area is really nice and we had a couple of things from the bar menu which were very tasty. The staff at the hotel are really excellent, from reception staff, bar staff and housekeeping staff. They were all really friendly. We’ll definitely return when we next visit relatives.

Stayed 2 nights. Good location. Room quite cheap. Free parking. Room very warm. No Air con. immediately provided with fan after asking. WC separate from shower which is unusual in present day hotels. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

Disappointed in Manchester

We have stayed in Novotel Hotels in several different Countries as well as the U.K. I cannot remember one as bad as this one. We were received very badly which set the tone for the visit. Our room was very basic, we had no Air Conditioning it was very `close` that evening so we had to open the window. Being close to the Motorway we had the drone of the traffic all night and slept very badly. The Staff seemed uninterested. Very disappointing!
