I had reservations for two people, so when I checked in, it was odd that they gave me only one drink coupon. The room was nice, but the toilet seat was not clean, we did not complain. However, after the first person showered, the water did not drain, so we called for plumbing support, turned out to be a gross murky black water in the tub kind of clog, the manager moved us to the adjacent room: he did not go in to our first room to see what the issue was, so the second room had the same black murky water in the tub, which he also had not gone in to, so we had to wait another 10 minutes for him to move us to a third room. For all our troubles, there was not so much as a drink coupon, the immediate demand for the old room keys was strange too (it's not like the hotel can't disable those, so showed lack of trust). The hotel is nice, check in.check out was great, bar was great, coffee shop was great, but can use some customer service on the actual rooms. Someone should ensure rooms are actually clean and they need to train cleaning staff to report plumbing issues (there's no way the water in the tub in our first room, 456 was draining when and if they cleaned that tub).

Was a total pleasure to stay here. Room was large and immaculate. People at the front desk were extremely cordial and professional. The workout room was spotless with lots of equipment to use. Enjoyed my complimentary cocktail at the very pretty bar as well. No complaints whatsoever!

Compared to other hotels in the area and my past experiences, this particular establishment didn’t do a fabulous job of “wowing” me or enticing me at all.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times before it’s a great hotel however I have to take into account some of the accommodations in the future. For instance before I would typically fly to the Bay Area so there was no concern over parking however this time I needed a car and the parking is outrageously priced for an area that is not a walking distance from public transit. The biggest issue is the large deposit you have to put down compared to other hotels I can put my credit card down and that would be enough occasionally a $100 or less deposit but this hotel my deposit is $400 for a room I prepaid for making it almost like I’m paying twice it’s never been an issue to pay it I just believe the policy is not good especially when I’m putting a credit card down. Lastly if it’s known that two guests are staying the room should reflect that my room has two towels my fiancé needs one for her hair and one for her body so we have to call for another one there’s two of us one robe so we call for another one, it wasn’t a big deal just inconvenient. Besides that I do like this hotel I’ve stayed here multiple times and I’d recommend it the staff is nice the property is amazing the rooms are clean it’s everything I want in a hotel.

There were hidden fees that were not told at no time which could have been during booking and/or when we called to find out prior to arriving in your city for our stay. Unprofessional front desk rep, and when email was sent to manager to get this addressed, there was no reply at all.

« Food poisoning »

Everything was great except one major problem. I ordered room service and a couple hours later food poisoning set in. I was sick the rest of my stay until I threw up the food. Then I started to feel better. Told the front desk on checkout and they didn't say anything or offer to compensate me for my meal.

I noticed that you rated our “service” experience low. As the Executive Chef I take great care of the quality of food that we serve to all our guests. I have receiving temperature charts, hot & cold holding temperature charts, refrigeration temperature charts and they are monitored regularly through out the day. Food poisoning generally takes 6 to 10 hours from consumption to effect your system and having the food removed from you system does not make you feel better. I have checked all the other comments and reports from the time of your stay and have not received any other complaints. I am writing to ensure you of the care my staff and myself take of the product from delivery to us to delivery to guests. Our relationship with our guests is of paramount importance. Beautiful hotel staff was accommodating. the room did not have a view as the listing stated when i booked the hotel and there was a bullet hole in the head board of one of the beds when asked for a discount due to this they stated they were unable to because i booked it and paid for it on expedia they did give me the $28 parking fee back we will see once the $150 hold on my cc clears if that actually happened as they also dod not provide me with a receipt for my stay. All in all it was clean and quiet just should have been given something more than a parking concession for the room with no view and a bullet hole in the headboard they didn't even offer to switch rooms and it wasn't like it was late we checked in at 3 pm.

We have brought this to our team's attention. Please accept my apologies for the condition. I am sorry the team could not provide a discount on the room and my apologies for the team not offering an alternative room. We will discuss such internally. However, I am glad they were able to alleviate on the situation by removal of the parking-fee from your folio. We do take an authorization of $150/night for incidental charges on the credit-/debit-card that our guests provide. Depending on the card-holder's merchant-bank, the authorization is removed 3-8 business-days after departure (should no incidental charges have occurred. Since you did not have additional charges after the parking fee was removed, there was no folio the hotel could provide (since you paid for your room via a third party (Expedia). We returned to the Pullman for a 50th birthday party, for a family member, and were treated like valued guests, as we have with previous stays. Another in our party had a small end suite that was very comfortable for family gatherings. Thanks and see you next time we visit San Francisco.

Booking included breakfast but this wasn’t apparent to restaurant staff. Buffet breakfast terrible. Poor choice and lukewarm. Not topped up often enough too and when it was the newly cooked was just tipped on top of what was in the existing dishes. Ate in the restaurant only one evening. Mushroom fettuccine dish was overcooked and stodgy. Left most of it. Courtesy bus dropped me at domestic not international terminal - long walk with heavy case and backpack. Would I return here, probably not.

« A tad old but well maintained with good room service »

Title says it all - a little dated but well maintained and the room service food is pretty good but pricey. Regardless, still one of the more consistent and nice hotels I can stay in near Silicon Valley with good access you SFO, downtown, and the valley.

When we got to our room there was a desk chair but to others....the table was there but no chairs? Getting the airport shuthe was a mess. No one could tell me where the shuttle was after we got our luggage....the hotel said it was at the airport but no way to contact. On our return to airport we were dropped at the wrong terminal. Jet Blue no longer is at the International terminal......for over 2 months.
