I booked this hotel for a nights rest on Journey from the UK to my home in Spain during the present COVID 19 Pandemic. As far as I am concerned the hotel could not have done more to help. From phoning me during the day to confirm that I was still arriving and for prompt attention on my arrival. Our room was fine for our needs and as I had another 1000 kilometres to drive the next day the offer of Breakfast to be left at our door the next morning was a lot more than the hotel we stayed at the night before. A personal thanks to the hotel for all their help in difficult circumstances

I was there to visit some friends from Pau. With its direct access from/to the motorway and easy access to the city the hotel is a good location. Rooms are clean and the staff, helpful and discreet, which is a good quality nowadays.

There were a few things we were not very happy with. Only one chair in a double room - should be two. Also at breakfast at 0830 we asked for some fresh scrambled eggs and were told it was not possible because the previous week had been very busy! Not what we would expect from a 4 star hotel.

I stay at the hotel for a month for work. For that long of a stay, there should be problems, but there were none. They room was nice and clean, and with enough space so that I would feel restricted for that period of time. I ate a lot at the restaurant, and the food was superb. The laundry service was efficient, but very expensive. The breakfast was good, but staying for that long I need some different options so as not to eat the same thing everyday. the staff was very helpful both with tips and helping me with the stay.

Early check in was a bonus, the place was clean. The gym is outdated and AC in my room didn’t work, but the window opened. Price was a bit high for the level of hotel, but free parking and close to airport.

Bed was comfortable, room cleaning excellent. Hallways too dark. Bedroom cooling system did not work. Sometimes there was a septic smell from the shower drain. Breakfast is overpriced. Eggs were cold or if hot they were like porridge. Sausages and bacon not prepared well. Rest of breakfast was fine.

Loved the bar the restaurant and the hotel. The reason I did not give a 10 is because the junior suite was too hot and the aircon could not be adjusted to cooler.
