« Nice stay - Not so much because of the beef »

The location if fine, as being close to Siemens Industry Software. Room, cleanness, reception area etc. were good and staff was service minded and kind. Only disappointing experience was dinner, where the ordered "rare" beef was more "well done". This mistake was covered by a beer "on the house", so no complaints

I am glad my colleagues were able to smooth things over with some beer, but I will be very sure to see who was in our kitchen to prevent further beef cruelty! We try to communicate as clear as possible about the parking as it is not our choice to charge for that completely, but sadly some of the channels online that we have no control over (such as Booking, Expedia etc.) don't seem to think our information is important. Excellent experience at the hotel. Bed was very comfortable, Breakfast was excellent. A better selection of tea's could be provided in the bedrooms.

There was a promise of shuttle to airport while reservation by phone By arriving at 22.00 We discover there’s no shuttle at all. I would book a different hotel then . The lady on the reception Could not help us , except the suggestion to have a walk to airport in the early morning. It’s a pity. The Breakfast was nice

It was satisfactory stay as we were only stopping over for a night for our onwards travel. Could have been much better experience as the staff was very friendly. The fact that Sofa bed wasn’t made and was left to us to make it was disappointing. Never had this before. The room didn’t give an impression that it was prepped for 3 adults and a child.

Dear, For the past 3 years we have been staying with Novotel for the Shekinah WDI conference and other dates and events. This weekend we stayed in the hotel for another conference but upon arriving the toilet was not clean and had a smell. Due to our busy weekend we had no time to report this. This is because our stay in Novotel always has a purpose and a busy schedule.

« A very nice stay! »

The hotel was easy to find and the fact it's outside of Eindhoven has its advantages. The breakfast, however expensive, was super, although we did wait half an hour to get bacon (but that's just me being too spoilt!). The day shift staff was very professional and nice, but we had to wait a little bit at night to get into the hotel as the doors were closed by the night shift. All in all, everything from the quality of the bedroom to the quite nice area were very worthwhile. Highly recommend.

For people who don't mind being outside downtown, this is a very good hotel in the Eindhoven area. I appreciate that my request for an additional blanket at Online check-in was already taken care before I arrived.

« Quiet, and pleasant stay »

I enjoyed the quietness of the place. It was not obvious to get there by foot from the airport, and I thought there would be a gym onsight. Apparently it was a 15 minutes ride but I didn't have a car. Maybe you should advertise the gym differently on your website :p

I have just checked your bill and I see the total of 1 breakfast and 1 soft drink from the reception kiosk on your bill. I also see that, due to an error in our system, these items may have been registered to the wrong date. If you indeed did not have breakfast or purchase a soft drink at reception (registered as minibar as the items in the kiosk are officially sold to stock your minibar in the room), please let me know and I will take action. Stayed : 5 nights , average per night: 137 euro x5 = 685 excl. breakfast and parking and tourist tax) Breakfast : YES (+20 euro x5 = 100) Dinner : YES (+approx 41 x 5 = 200) Parking : YES . (5 x 9= 45 euro) Generally speaking is was ok....not a much inspiring place..the hotel design and atmosphere is one of the US based principles of a one fits all hospitality, old. Not like the images on website. Not really worth a 4 star worthy : is the (small-outside) swimming pool was closed because of season, no gym, no map or walking route around the hotel for running, building in progress, standard prefab (fish was old and dry) dinner and breakfast . The staff is friendly and helpfull. Although it seemed that a lot of staff was under trained. Resulting in not correctly invoices and a credit card that has been charged 200% (no check by the clerk at the desk) .. If you have to stay near the airport it is an option. Otherwise : try the Campanile or get a good discount. (note l parking is 9 euro a night, at other places theses included)

Dear Ilya, Thank you for visiting and reviewing Novotel Eindhoven.It is very clear that some things did not go as planned or promised during your stay, for which I want to apologise to you. I am new to the team here, but it is obvious we have some work to do, mainly in the way my colleagues treated you during your stay. Even with an aged building and the fact that we can't really control the paid parking situation (as is the same for other hotels on the airport), we should have done a better job as we do, for example, have more information on the area and routes for walking or running. I will be sure to use your feedback in getting the team back on track as they should be and I hope that we might see you again in the future to show you that we can do better than this visit. There should be no comparison possible between us and the Campanile hotel in which they are a viable option so we have our work cut out for us. I will be sure to see about the double charge on your credit card immediately after sending this and check if there is anything we need to do to get this fixed (and do that of course).
