Se had a really good stay at the Ibis Hotel East in Colmar. The staff was Opel for our wishes. It was possible to make special aggreements. The was sufficient lokal dishes.

Good stay in Horbourg/Wihr

The room was clean and the beds were execellent, Not only a shower, but also a bath. A friendly advice is to have an English and a German channel available besides Arte. The main population of the hotel does not have their mother language as French. It would seriously increase the pleasure of the stay. Furthermore I would be good to switch of the air ventilation of the kitchen during the night. Why do you clean rooms on Sunday 17:00? We just came back from a hike.

Your staff, as always, were helpful, pleasant and tried their best, but the blocked basin in our room, and very poor choice of food ruined our stay. Ibis should have maintenance staff on call to fix problems, not expect a receptionist who was dealing with check-ins, helping in the bar and waitressing to be able to solve the problem

The Hotel is not far from Colemar, but you will need a car or a bike. Parking space and restaurant are ok, but the room are clearly old and just got a fresh coat of paint. AC is there and work, but is noisy and not very effective. there is a single power socket in the room, and far from the bed, and cleaning was just OK (dusty and some web on the bed feet) Staff was very nice and understanding, breakfast OK early but lacking near 9AM What bother me is how much a night cost for this... but i've been told that the area is globally expensive.

The service, the staff and the breakfast was excellent. However the room was old, no kettle for warm drinks and I have to struggle to pay the 200 euro bill with 200 currency ( as somebody thought I am a forger).
