I always love staying in Novotel being an Accor group member, but here I was dissatisfied, when I particularly requested for higher floors and no noise…

Dear Mr. R., I am very sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay. Unfortunately, your request for a quiet room did not reach us. The booking notes only mentioned that you would like to sleep as high as possible and with a city view. We have complied with this request as best we could and provided the city view as well as the highest located and available room. For future stays, I have noted in your guest profile that you would like a quiet room in any case. I hope you will give us a second chance and then you will like the room choice more. OK for the price, room for improvement

The stay was ok, nothing more nothing less. The staff is very friendly. There is room for improvement though: it wasnt the cleanest room. But I do not want to go into detail in this official review. The hotel does a marketing with "healthy foods" "brain foods". And then one sees what is offered for breakfast: Bacon, ham, sausage, egg etc. etc. only healthy thing is the fruitsalad bar. And there as well everything is dairy. If you do a marketing around health food, you should really be offering some plant-based alternatives to cheese, yoghurt, meat, etc. As well a warm variant of milk in your coffee (there was only cold soya milk). in the Novo2 restaurant there was not one dish which was plant-based. Therefore I decided to not have dinner there. We are in an era, where you know that meat and dairy are bad for your health & the environment. I am not a vegan or anything, but I watch out for what I eat and reduce dairy and meat where I can, and the fact is that even hotels should consider offering some alternatives when proclaiming health food and a modern restaurant concept. It would be nice to be able to choose from alternatives. In my opinion, if you want to go with the trend, you need to invest in some plant-based alternatives. Thank you for giving the chance to give feedback. My goal is not to criticized, I am sincere and honest, and want to give the hotel the possibility to improve.

Wir freuen uns immer sehr über Anregungen, Wünsche oder einfach nur Feedback wie ihnen der Aufenthalt bei uns gefallen hat. Es tut mir leid, dass wir nicht alle Ihre Ansprüche voll erfüllen konnten und wir werden Ihre Anregungen ernst nehmen und Verbesserungen Ableiten. Was die Speisekarte wie auch unser Frühstück angeht, so kann ich Ihnen mitteilen, dass dies nicht unser reguläres Angebot darstellt. Auf der nach wie vor geringen Nachfrage können wir noch nicht wieder die volle Bandbreite an Produkten anbieten, wie wir es gerne würden. Der Frühstückspreis ist deshalb derzeit auch um 5€ im Vergleich zum regulären Preis vor der Pandemie reduziert. Es freut mich sehr Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass wir ab kommender Woche wieder eine reichhaltigere Auswahl, insbesondere an vegetarischen und veganen Lebensmitteln anbieten werden. Der Staub, sowie die Kalkablagerungen die Sie in Ihrem Zimmer feststellen mussten haben wir bereits entfernt. Auch der blaue Müllsack auf dem Vordach wurde nun entfernt. So etwas sollte selbstverständlich nicht vorkommen. Bitte entschuldigen Sie dies. Liebe Frau Schulz-Gosslar, noch einmal herzlichen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung. Excellent stay at Novotel Frankfurt, well designed bedrooms, extremely clean, with double doors to ensure no noise comes from the corridor, large shower room and excellent bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast. Looking forward to our next stay!

Nice place but poor information of restrictions

By arrival (late Thursday) we expected to get dinner at the restaurant. It was not possible (the restaurant was closed) and we received a not very good (to say the least) information on where to go. We ended up at a supermarket!! Restaurant information was sent in the bookinginformation - several pages -who reads them all, but not before booking as a part of the hotel decision process. This is probably my last stay at the hotel.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Especially with the experienced incidents due to the still limited service we offer because of the closed restaurant, I appreciate the personal and direct feedback very much and of course I do not want to miss to show you my appreciation here with my answer! After the long awaited relaxation of the very tough restrictions for our industry after now more than a year, we could not estimate the demand at the beginning. These are especially for tourism still dependent on the daily infection events and our industry is here very quickly hit by new requirements & restrictions. Now with the increasing demand and the joy of the increasing number of guests, we will specifically observe these and with an existing continuity also open our restaurant again, so that we then offer our guests again an all-round positive hotel experience. However, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you. To avoid missunderstandings we send all information and to all our guests in adavance. Dear Mr U., I really hope that we can welcome you again with us and that we can fully convince you of our performance! Friendly staff, good price value, free parking, old rooms.

Dear T. family, I would like T. take this opportunity T. thank you very much for your feedback on your stay with us in August! We are really very happy that we can keep our hotel open until further notice and welcome all our guests, despite the current situation. We are especially happy about your positive words, that is really the biggest motivation for us. Especially after the difficult last months for our industry, it helps us T. keep the thought firmly in our mind that things will continue T. improve. Regarding the somewhat older room product, I have T. agree with you that it is already a bit outdated. But we are happy that everything is in a very good condition and that we were able T. buy new carpet, curtains and beds recently. We have already planned further measures, but the time of implementation is still uncertain due T. the pandemic that we hope is behind us. This hotel is not at all representative of a Novotel. It's old and needs investments in fournitures, carpets, bathroom, non existing climatisation and even their... iron. It's not a disaster, still clean, but it's old and NOT worth the price ! Really too bad for such a nice city as Frankfurt. To finish on a positive note : the elevators were modern.

I'd rather have 588pierre, Thank you very much for your rating and the honest words. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay with us. We continue to work on ourselves and hope to be able to offer you a better impression in the future. The carpets, for example, will be replaced this year in all corridors and rooms. We also hope to be able to renew parts of the furniture and the bathrooms soon. Our rooms have been air-conditioned since the opening of the hotel. Did you have any problems with this? If so, I suspect a defect in the control of the room and it would be a great help if you could tell me more details about your stay to check this (room number, booking number or your full name would suffice). I was very upset from one of the front desk service. She was very rude. The others were polite and helpful. But even one person can spoil the full experience and rating of the hotel. 1st room I have received was to the side of the train and it was veryyyy loud. I couldn't sleep at all. When I came back next day afternoon to ask to change the room, she was rude and not nice with her way of talking to a customer. I didn't expect that at all. The initial loud room was with a coffee machine so I have expected to receive a coffee machine in the room in which I have changed to. But they have refused to give me one because of the booking I did. I agree only if it was not provided in the initial loud room. You cannot change your service suddenly!!!! The room service and cleaning personnel were perfect.

Unfortunately, my colleague could not have changed anything about the room situation. She has tried to explain to you that the coffee machines mentioned are only available in our large corner rooms. Neither the corner rooms, nor rooms with coffee machines are officially bookable with us, but only available as a free upgrade. You received this from us, because you travelled with 3 persons and spent several nights with us. I'm sorry that you weren't satisfied with this room because of the nearby traffic routes. Unfortunately, all rooms of this type have the same orientation. At your request, the colleague offered you another room which accordingly did not have a coffee machine and, following your complaint, even tried to arrange for you to have a coffee machine in this room as well. Unfortunately, however, this was not possible. I am very sorry that my colleague seemed unfriendly to you in finding a solution. This was certainly not her intention, and I suspect that this was the result of the fact that she was unable to offer you a satisfactory solution. I apologise for that. Very nice Service. Little gift for Children during check-in, small playground at Lobby. Good Service during breakfast. A litttle bit far from Downtown, around 11 € by taxi to main Shopping street. Enough parking places for free nearby.
