The experience that we had at the hotel was good but I had a bit of a disappointment when we reported the toilets in our room was locked to a member of the cleaning stuff and when we came back to our room that evening it was still the same so we had to unblock it ourselves but we enjoyed our stay and we we are coming back on the 29th of September till the 6th of October and I would like some compensation for the inconvenience that we experienced in our room with the toilet incident there a discount of next visit on the 29th of September to the 6th of October at Nerval hotel thank you and could you please ring me on 07…Thank you

Planned for the Boat Show which was cancelled but made the trip anyway and it was worth it. Great location with easy access to shops. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very pleasant. Ate at the hotel and the food was good. Have booked another trip to this hotel already and looking forward to it. Fingers crossed. Thank you .

I loved the experience. However, I wished if the toilet and the shower were in the same bathroom, and the TV volume was loader .

The hotel is very well located, so close to everything. The rooms are nice. However we had one big complaint. They charge £12 for breakfast which we understand due to current situations this has to be eaten in your room, however the little box of food that they give you is certainly not worth the money, it was extremely dry and basically inedible. Also we had no cutlery. They also couldn’t even provide you with proper milk for a cup of tea. The hotel in all is nice but would recommend getting breakfast elsewhere

I stayed at the Southampton hotel for one night. Check in was efficient, adequate infection control measures. The room was very clean bed comfortable. Pre order breakfast was unexpected, but worked well and the delivered food was piping hot, on time and of good quality. All the staff were efficient, helpful and friendly.

Arrived to be told pool had to be pre booked prior to arrival and that it was now fully booked throughout duration of our stay. We were advised that this was a new policy brought in since we had booked and not at any point were we made aware of this. How would we know to book ahead if we were never told and there was nothing on the booking information?! Considering this was the only reason we booked this hotel over others it pretty much ruined our stay as my kids were devastated.

Wanted a couple of days away with my daughter and granddaughter where we wouldn't have to drive to go out and eat etc. Novotel did what it said on the tin. Room was clean and comfortable with a passably good shower. Breakfast left a little to be desired, had we known how close we were to the retail estate, would not have booked it.

Check in took a long time. My little girl also wanted to go in the pool but couldn’t as slots had to be reserved at the pool. We were not made aware of this as if we did we would have booked a slot in advance. Room was ok, there were empty bottles left in a drawer, the shower leaked and the toilet didn’t flush properly. The beds and sheets were clean but we did find a McDonald’s toy under the sofa bed... I also called in advance to request a cot in the room. This wasn’t actioned so I had to co sleep with my baby which I don’t like doing. The bar area was nice. I did expect more to be honest and wouldn’t stay there again.
