« Good hotel with some staff training necessity »

Typically Novotel (i.e. good) room. Very nice staff in the restaurant. Unfortunately the staff on the reception is not reactive and some persons are even impolite. For example: during check out the guy could not manage the payment via UnionPay card and insisted that the card is not working. We tried several times to explain him how to manage UnionPay card - he even didn't want to listen. In the end I showed him how to do it - payment was completed. But not reaction from the receptionist, even no excuses...

We booked the Novotel, as we had to catch an early flight in Linate, transferring from Malpensa. Overall the experience was ok, however pricey restaurant for aa below average food and the room was not up to the expected standards.

The hotel is excellent in all aspects: design, ambiance, cleanliness, and the proximity to the airport, provided by a shuttle service. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are big, comfortable and contemporary with all the necessary accessories a quick stay requires.

On this occasion we stayed only 1 night. As usual, check-in was smooth and staff very friendly. Great room and, enjoyable meal in the restaurant. As a silver member the welcome drink was much appreciated.

« Good hotel, bad airport shuttle service »

To take the hotel shuttle bus on arriving at Linate airport, you should go upstairs to the "Departures" area and find exit #4, call the hotel and ask them to collect you. Then wait, and wait, and wait, and wait...….. The service is supposed to be every 30mins, but their driver left me waiting 50 minutes for the 2 minute drive to the hotel. Thanks !

It doesn’t takes 2 minutes drive to get to the hotel, but 10/12 at least and yes it's correct the service is every 30 minutes on request. I wish to thank you once again for sharing your opinions. « Good hotel, terrible airport shuttle collection. »

Hotel was good, but the transfer from Linate airport to the hotel was terrible - I was waiting almost 50 minutes for the driver to arrive and had contacted the hotel several times to ask for them to collect me.

A good reception from friendly and helpful staff, pleasant room and a decent breakfast for the price. A little away from most facilities although we found a good pizza restaurant less than 15 minutes walk away walking in towards the city...

It was good stay, except check-in process - the priority line for silver status guests is same as for all others, on-line check in was not considered neither - in other hotels the key is just waiting for you. Breakfast good, up to Novotel standard

last time i was at your hotel 2 years ago, it seems that quality dropped... showers are broken , room is not clean , we ordered twobedroom with additional bed for our son, we have got only two bed without additiona bed... Also you are the first hotel witch want deposit of 80 eur from my credit cart with advanced 100 %payment... I am still waitting on storno deposit from you. best regards Luka

Please, let me show my regret not to have been able to meet you personally, since we could have tried to better clarify the issues you report. We do highly evaluate our guests’ comments in order to constantly improve the level of service we strive to offer our clients and your observations are helpful to this intent. If you had told us immediately the general state of cleanliness of your room, we would have immediately changed it or at least we would have sent a porter to fix the room. Regarding the type of room you booked, there was a little sofa bed prepared for the child. Finally, according to your feedback we always give to our customers the possibility to choose between leaving a credit card as guarantee, where we take a deposit of €40 per person per day that we release at checkout time, or the full payment in advance. This is our normal procedure and we are sorry we did not clearly explain to you. Please, be assured that the issues raised have been investigated in order to give you a proper response, which I am convinced, it was better and more helpful to do personally, during your stay, since it was all about misunderstandings to be clarified and which we just learnt after your departure. I do sincerely hope that you will decide to have another occasion to stay at the Novotel Milano Linate. « Keycard, WiFi should work at the first time after check-in. The sink in the shower was bad almost flooded the room »

Ambiente and Service was very good. For room access (Keycard) and WiFi I had to go to the reception twice (for each) after checkin that should work at the first time.
