Overall, the service provided at the hotel was fine. However, I'm only giving a score of 4 for the following reasons: 1- Upon arrival, I sent a sports jacket to be cleaned at the hotel dry cleaner. I got it back in a paper-wrapper and only opened it after leaving the hotel. I now realize the zip has been ruined by someone who has forced the zip all the way up without checking that both sides were fully aligned. The zip is now destroyed and stuck at the top. This is completely unacceptable. I also believe the dry cleaning service should have let me know instead of concealing the damage in a paper-wrapper. Besides, they have also left a long pin stuck in the lining of the jacket! This is completely unprofessional and also potentially dangerous. By way of this feedback, I'm requesting compensation for the damage caused. 2- My Diamond status gives me right to a welcome drink on arrival that the reception simply "forgot" to provide. 3- I had a very unpleasant experience with a taxi driver on the transfer to the airport: taking a longer route to the airport, arguing and renegotiating the agreed fare once arrived when I was at risk of missing my flight check-in deadline. Once again, I find that completely unacceptable and, whilst I accept the fact this might not be the hotel's responsibility, I believe the hotel should have benchmarks to select the drivers operating outside: type of car, comfort, cleanliness, reliability of drivers, consistency of fares...etc. For the above reasons, I'm giving a rate of 4 and I await your feedback on my request for compensation.

Buffet breakfast had local food as well as your usual pastries ect. which I found awesome. Rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is huge! The shower had a rain shower head. Kind staff except for one incident where I wanted to use the community computers in the lobby and asked for help. The front lady didn’t even acknowledge me and one of her colleagues jumped in. He was trying to help me and asked her if there was a password ect and she talked about me in front of me saying “just tell her to figure it out, she can just go over there and use it” The gentleman was very apologetic and did his best to assist me. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Aside from that, we had a very pleasant stay. Staff downstairs (dining area) were awesome. We love Abidjan.
