« Good service and loging, but with technical issues »

The hotell in general was up to my expectations along with the service, there were however technical issues with the card reader when I wished to check in (after calling the bank on the phone I was told it was related to the card reader not being online to check account balance on the card). There was luckily no issues checking out and paying with the same card.

« Dissappointing »

Room was satisfactory but the evening meal was poor. the fish was not cooked, fried on the outside but cold in the centre. I sent it back but it was returned having been fried on the parts I had opened. I checked the area for a MacDonalds but they are too far away for that time of night. The hotel was being refurbished on the floor of my room. More effort could have been put into preventing dirt from the works being in the thoroughfare from the lift.

Very friendly and supportive staff at the reception. Large portion of the ground floor is occupied by a restaurant that is going through a renovation. That creates lots of stuff moving around.

I felt my room was comfortable and I appreciated the international TV options. I felt the breakfast offer was relatively basic: no cheese for example, no fromage blanc; supplies on my second morning were really low, couldn't make a cup of tea as the hot water had run out, I had to request pastries

1. THough I had paid for early check-in the rooms were not available. 2. The receptionist was rude and was showing temper tantrum 3. Basic amenities such as ironing board/ironing machine was not available for two days!

« Decent place to stay in Paris Massy »

The Hotel Mercure provides decent quality and the high room rate is probably usual for Paris area. There were three things, though, that did not work for me: * The breakfast was below expectation if you go for cerials . The Müsli was mixed with so much added sugar and salt (!) that me and my colleagues could not eat it. The intense blue spot lights in the breakfast room were disturbing. * At checkout the reception could not provide a printed invoice. It is only sent by mail and it turned out to be wrong for all of us. I have not received an answer to my request for a corrected invoice, so how do I do company reimbursement? * The water cooker in the room smelled intensly from vinegar or a cleaning acid. I had to flush it several times before using it for a tee. All over, this was below my usual experience with Arcor.

« Poor service »

The receptionist was not able to give me a printet receipt. Nor was the receptionist able to show me the receipt, so I could verify that all was correct. I received a receipt only 4-hours after check-out, and that receipt was incorrect. I have not yet received a correct receipt, depite having been in email contact with the hotel several times.
