We are very sorry to hear that your booking was not done properly and both rooms were dirty. A finding of one sock would already be very inappropriate, let alone a bathroom that is not properly cleaned and trash in rooms. We are sorry to hear that your experience was lesser than earlier visits to our hotel. We just switched our breakfast from downstairs to the bar area, but we did not recently made any changes to the freshness of the breakfast. The parking is also a pain in our eyes and we are trying to come with an agreement for it. The tap water in the Netherlands is indeed safe to drink, we do offer water from the bottle downstairs, at the bar or the vending machine located at the bottom of the stairs.
