Overall positive. Good location, good safety measures, friendly people to help, decent facilities, room condition good (stayed in privilege room). Only negative issue is car parking (very small place for big cars; they need to improve that side)

Arrival and departure were handled well. Breakfast order was taken on arrival and we had a choice of taking it outside on the terrace, in the bar or in our room. We chose the terrace - a good choice. The room was spotless and the staff were all very friendly. We did have dinner in the bar and that all went smoothly. Overall a good stay.

We stayed overnight whilst passing Rouen. The hotel is close to the centre and is easy to find. The anti covid arrangements were good and we had nice meals in our room. Social spacing was good other than when we arrived and a coach party was also arriving!o It was therefore rather congested in the reception area. The staff were excellent.

In view of the Covid-19 situation, I was a little concerned to be staying in any hotel. However, we needed a hotel due to the fact that were travelling from South West France to the North of the UK and needed a hotel for the night. I have stayed in this hotel before and that was a very good experience, so it was a first choice to book this hotel again. Our room was extremely clean and well disinfected. It had an excellent air conditionung system, which was needed as it was 38C outside when we arrived in the evening. We ate in the bistro where the menu offered an ample choice. The food and wine were excellent. Breakfast was delivered to our room the following morning and provided an abundance of choice on our trays. The receptionist was very helpful, both at check in and check out. Overall, we had the impression that all the hotel staff could not do enough for us to make sure that we were comfortable and safe. We are staying at this hotel again in a few days on our return journey to France.

well located but disappointing facilities

the check in was good, the room was very nice but sadly it went down hill from there. the restaurant was shut but given that the other restaurants nearby were open and serving left me questioning why it was closed. we went for a drink on the terrace but the area didn't look as though it had been set out for use and it definitely needed a good clean around the edges.

Very nice hotel with perfect location (close to everything). The room was very nice, spacious and clean with big comfy bad. The staff was excellent and very helpfull. The only fault was that I did not get a "Welcome gift" which I am entitled to as gold status member of Accor Loyalty program

Found the staff very friendly and helpful, spacious room and very clean. Secure parking very convenient although some of the reserved hotel parking was being used for storage.

I cannot fault the steps that this hotel has taken to try to protect the staff and customers. However, I do wish to pass on some comments regarding my stay. I booked a room for two persons with breakfast. It was explained that breakfast would be on a prepared tray and could be taken in the room or in the lobby area. Given that the room only had one chair and two very small occasional tables, breakfast in the room would have been difficult. We arrived in the lobby at 6:30am and were (surprisingly) directed to the restaurant. On entering it we were asked to leave by the member of staff who was preparing the breakfast trays. She had to call the receptionist to tell her that we must go to the bar area. Breakfast was brought to us on two separate trays and consisted of everything on the menu. It was far too much and included many things that neither of us would eat. If we had been given a proper choice we could have selected only the items that we wanted and this would have greatly reduced the waste of good food! We stayed the following night in Mercure Limoges and they have organised it properly - we dictated our choices to the receptionist the on our arrival and she ticked the appropriate boxes on the breakfast menu. One other thing was - we had a drink in the bar on the evening of our arrival. We noted that the floor had been marked with a one-way system - good! However, at one point a group of six people congregated at the bar blocking the one-way system. We, and the barman resulted in going the wrong way to avoid them. There was plenty of space in that lounge so he should have asked them to move to a corner - away from the one-way system. Finally, My ALL preferences state that I wish to have a room with a bath. When I reserved this room I reiterated that choice. When I checked-in on-line I repeated my request. BUT the room I was given did not have a bath!

You could strike out on your sheet the products that you did not wish to have, you had full rights as other customers do. I did not open our restaurant for breakfast but we opened our snack bar and our terrace to receive customers like you where it is not pleasant to eat in a room. It is true that we have implemented a whole protocol to enforce distanciations and others following this Covid-19 crisis, but we must not be too rigorous with our customers, to our great regret, following some guidelines in the group. I've stayed many times in the hotel and was disappointed with the renovation. the rooms don't have a closet to keep the clothes. have a very small open area next to the bed. the restaurant was really bad. Had dinner with 2 colleagues and after waiting for almost 1 hr for 3 burgers the were all cold and overcooked.

Having had a really good experience at the hotel (September 2029), when we ran a 3-day Leadership training programme, we decide to book the same hotel for our follow up programme in February 2020. It was lovely to see lots of familiar faces, warm smiles, and to be looked after thoroughly and professionally during our stay. Everyone from Reception to Restaurant/Bar, from Housekeeping to Conference management were attentive to our needs, and made sure we felt totally looked after. A huge thank you to all if the team at Mercure Rouen Champs de Mars!
