We stayed for 4 nights and had an upgrade to a room to the canal because of accor-diamond-level. The room was a bit small though for my taste but clean and in good shape. Breakfast was good with a little drawback that it was not a self-service menu but you had to order it by pointing to it. The bar and restaurant are too expensive, given the lots of alternatives all around in Venice.

Excellent location, clean, quiet, easy to find, pleasant staff, and operationally well executed.

We had a good stay, but not up to the standards of the MGallery hotels I am used to. I seemed a bit too expensive for what it was and there was not much attention to the customer.

I spent 4 nights in this beautiful hotel, all the staff was incredible kind and dedicated to my wellness. I would like to thank particularly Manlio at the reception who warmly welcomed me and assisted me all along my stay with his precious advises ! I also would like to address a special thank you to the ladies of the "breakfast team", they were very nice :)

The location is very good and strategic, close by parking places, literally in front of the canal with view, easy to reach. The staff offers excellent service and very welcoming. The interior design is superb and with a nice history that I leave you to find out.

My second visit in this house after 4 scorching hot & humid nights in August 2019 where the only bearable place to be was my own air-conditoned room. This time I was blessed by sunny yet breezy weather, only topped by less tourists and of course impeccable hospitality at the front desk, in breakfast and dining room. The only stain to this perfect picture was the poor performance of the housekeeping, who managed to skip servicing the minibar and tea/coffee facilities 3 days in a row. A short call to the front desk brought immediate relief, thank you for your efficiency! Yet the Management should reevaluate the competence, reliability and work quality of the housekeeping team. Rest assured that I certainly will return next year as I always enjoy my stay in your house.

The hotel is nice, a good location and decent rooms. The breakfast is a complete joke and even some Ibis will offer a more complete breakfast. The staff mentioned that this was due to the covid. I find this a very weak excuse and if seemed that the F&B department was looking for a way to save money. I travel a lot and have seen how hotels offer great breakfasts even with covid. To the hotel: please improve your offering, make part of the breakfast a la cart - just like The Grand in Amsterdam - or make the items you offer bigger. Covid should not be a reason why you don't give value for money!

A total miss for my wife's birthday

For my wife' birthday, I book the biggest suite of the hotel. Upon arrival people were very nice and a bottle of Prosecco was delivered to our room to highlight her birthday, a nice gesture. The first evening in our suite was good and we enjoyed the outside bathtub but unfortunately the water jets were working. On the second night, we went to bed around 11h30 and around 1:30, the emergency lights went on in the room and we lost all electricity. We were offered another room so we changed room in the middle of the night. The next morning, the room electricity was back and we were able to gain access to our suite. In the middle of the day, after exploring Venice, we were told that our suite still have electricity issue and that they will give us another regular room for our last night. Throughout the adventure, people were very nice and apologize many times. But bottom line, we were going into this weekend expecting a lot and we end up changing rooms 3 times in 3 days and not having access to our suite for more than 24 hours. I understand that problem like can happen but it is very disappointing to organize a weekend like this one and ending up moving rooms all the time.

It was our sincere wish to let you spend a memorable stay at the Papadopoli, and we regret very much that your special occasion was not celebrated as deserved, for reasons not depending on our will. The very hot temperatures recorded in our area - much higher than the normal average during this season – caused an energy overload that seriously disrupted part of the electrical system, with the consequent inability to use the rooms on the upper floor and outdoor Jacuzzi. This is not meant to be an excuse, of course, but believe us when we say that we did all the possible actions to solve these issues and avoid any kind of disservice. Unfortunately it was impossible to fix the problem in quick time and we have been forced to make an external intervention and change you the rooms assigned. To compensate these discomforts suffered, we have already credited the courtesy points to your account and processed the refund agreed for your reservation. Please contact us if there is any trouble with that, we will promptly act to solve it. Laura at the reception, welcomed us very warmly. I really appreciated. Location of the hotel is very convenient. Coming from airport or railway, it is easy to find. It is a feel good hotel.

Pretty good located hotel in venice. Although the hotel is close to Canal Grande and Piazzale Roma it is quite vicinity of a park. The hotel is styled in an venice style. The whole staff was very friendly, we loved espezially the service at the breakfast. The requirements for the green pass were ask very discreet.

- lovely hotel, very confortable with all expected amenities. Staff is welcoming, rooms are very clean, beds confortable and decoration fitting in the Venice armosphere. - Breakfast a bit disappointing - lacking more authentic products and quality bread - location is ideal for entering / exiting Venice (near train station), but a good 20-25 min walk from St Marks - which was fine for us, but may be perceived as long for others (especially that it was very hot)
