« Perfect location, loveable staff, beautiful stay. »

I had a wonderful stay with no negative incident. I loved to be pampered with a chocolate and the good night tea. It just felt great to know the appreciation. I have a chronic disease and wake up in pain normally. I had three almost painless mornings because of the wonderful bed. Definitely the best stay in a hotel I had. All staff was very helpful, very nice and extraordinary. I will definitely come back. Now I know what hotel to choose when in Lisbon. I just loved my stay.♥️

« Bad experience with All Accor limitless launch party »

Overall facilities good, and service ok! I was invited for the launch of the new All Accor limitless programme cocktail party. I turn just as it was about to finish, we spoke to one of the service guest who told us that there was no problem that we could join still. He chatted with us then provided us champagne then left! There was a little group of fellow attendees with Accor management and we were not introduced to anyone and we could see cocktails and canapés being offered to other guests by the chef and us being ignored. Management mingling and taking pictures with other attendees and us being ignored. I got frustrated and basically hailed the chef asking if we could have some amuse gueule, he was surprised and told us that it was for members only I then told him that we were part of the programme and that I had been invited. The chef was so embarrassed, apologies and advise that he had not been told. Clearly a lack of communication somehow here! Anyways after the chef left I could see that he was talking to some guest and clearly did not bother to advise his colleagues that we were here too. I made a complaint to the guest relations manager after we checked out on our last day! I felt insulted on that night and no cocktails offered only champagne and no amuse gueule tasting like the other guest and neither an acknowledgement from the management team on the day! I will not play the race card but I must say that It felt somehow very bizarre! I was the only dark complexion in that room!

« Good Hotel located in Liberdade »

The experience is good. We were checked in on arrival with no problems. The only question I have is that they said that i was upgraded for my room but it was one of the worst rooms in the Hotel with a weird window. If that was the upgrade I dont know what the original room was. Summary probably better that I was not upgraded because it should be the cheapest room in the hotel. Just for indo.

I am used to staying in business hotels, so I was surprised by the careful and solicitous service I received during my stay at this hotel. Every since I arrived until my departure every employee was ready to be of service. As an Accor Hotel Gold member I received a room upgrade with a delicious plate of local pastry waiting for me. I found the room to be very nice and comfortable and I was impressed with the quality of the breakfast, and it integrated local Portuguese plates: very delicious.

We were there to celebrate our anniversary, hotel provide us some surprise gift. The staff are professional and attentive. Breakfast is perfect, with wide variety of choice and delicious. The hotel is not new, but well maintained. Overall recommended. Just one thing, the shower temperature is not stable, it's either too cold or too hot.

« Telmo on reception made my stay a great one »

When I arrived at the hotel a crowd of Chinese tourists was coming out. After they dispersed a friendly porter called Nelson took my suitcase and showed me to reception where I was warmly welcomed by Telmo who looked after me throughout my stay. Being a gold member I got an upgrade from a 25m2 superior room to a 28m2 luxury room which was great as when I peeked inside a superior room I saw that it was really small. My room was at the end of the corridor so had extra space which made a difference. I also liked the special gold key card holder for gold members. There were two armchairs with footstools (sorely missed during my recent stay at the Sofitel in Abu Dhabi) on either side of an oval table which had a flower, a welcome note and some cakes on it which was a nice touch. There was also a free bottle of water on each side of the bed and the minibar was well stocked. The bathroom had a walk-in shower. The overhead rain shower was on the side with the glass panel but the normal shower was on the open side so water goes everywhere when you have a shower so they should probably add a shower door. As everyone has mentioned the exercise room on the lower ground floor is tiny with a Technogym treadmill, upright bike, seated bike a Unica multi-station and a few light barbells. However, the hotel will sell you a voucher for €15 to use a nearby gym and pool and apparently they are planning on doing some renovations soon so hopefully there will soon be a better gym. On the first night I had dinner in the hotel restaurant AdLib. The menu was limited but the food and service were good. I had lunch there the second day and there was a good value tasty lunch menu at €18 for 2 courses and €22 for 3 courses. I had a free drink in the bar with my gold member voucher and the barman made me an excellent gin and tonic with some extra ingredients. The second evening I had an amazing dinner at 100 Maneiras in the old town and when I got back I was told that Telmo had organized another free cocktail for me in the hotel bar which was really nice of him. It's because of staff like him that I love to stay at the Sofitel as they always make you feel special.

The hotel front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and an interesting design with the bathroom doors. Location was brilliant. Only reason I couldn't give 10/10 was due the slow service at breakfast and small portion given when ordering the eggs benedict. Although I could have ordered another, I didn't want to wait to be served again.

« Good choice in Lisbon »

Overall a good SOFITEL. Rooms are on the small size with little room for two pieces of luggage. Bathroom is also quite small and lacks a private cabin for toilet which is not good for two guests. Mattress in our room needs replacement as it was lumpy especially on one side of the bed. A/C heating is hard to control temperature in room. The Fitness Center is extremely small and crowded with limited equipment which becomes a problem if more than 2 guests are using the facility. The temperature in the fitness center was always entirely too hot! Hotel seemed very clean throughout. Staff were helpful.

I can't fault a thing. I was upgraded, staff helpful,location great, lwelcome etter in envelop, reminded me of good old fashion communication and it was highlight . Only restaurant had not many variety of foods but great quality.

Had a good expedience at Lisboa Sofitel. It is well located and has the little luxuries that today’s chain hotels lack. Was surprised by the amenities in the room and the care to details. It was my birthday and they sent a cake to my room and balloons too. Very nice gesture! The hotel staff were well motivated and nice.
