« Good, but... »

It was our 3° time in Paris, and we love this arr. The room was nice but had no trash bin, only in the bathroom. The bathroom was very small, especially the toilet space, and it smelled very bad, like sewage, that was the worst part. Overall we would go back to the hotel, the staff are kind and friendly, the hotel is also very beautiful!

« Eiffel Tower room is a jewel! »

Although the check in was really unpleasant (the room was NOT ready at 8pm! -the cleaning lady was inside because of a late checkout of previous guests), the overall experience was very good. The room is tiny indeed (but hey, we are in Paris!), but renovated, clean, warm, soundproof and, gosh, what a spectacular Eiffel Tower view you got! The sleep quality was very good, also. We lacked some veggies at breakfast (not a single tomato, really?) but enjoyed the cheese, eggs , croissants and coffee. The location is also ideal, 1 minute walk from metro and 15 minutes walk from Eiffel. For the money spent, we think it was a very smart choice! We'd stay here again in the future

« Nice Hotel...Bathroom Too Small »

Nice Hotel...excellent staff and location...loved the area. Rooms efficient and comfortable...but the bathroom was definitely too small for someone my size: 6'3" and 250 lbs.

« Nice stay with some minor issues »

The hotel has really nice interior and is well located. Breakfast is pretty good as well. Rooms are clean. However we were slightly disappointed with the reception service. We were unable to check in advance due to technical issues on web site and asked for early check-in when we arrived. We have been waiting for 2 hours until reception workers figure out if it is possible and seemed like they didn't care about it at all. The quote after our stay was sent to my email as an XML file instead of PDF.

« Nice stay in Cambronne »

The IBIS hotel in Cambronne is a good location to stay in. We were there for the exhibition at paris expo at porte de versailles. It was a simple bus ride away on route 80. The eiffel tower is very close about 10 minutes away and most locations are accessible from the nearby metro station. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant. There are also plenty of cafes closeby. There are plenty of asian restaurants in the area providing thai, vietnamese, japanese, chinese and indian food. Loved the stay.

Heating was broken. The room was too cold. Reception wasn’t picking up the phone so I spent the night without heating while it was +2 degrees outside.

Really enjoyed our stay, nice area and good hotel. The only minor was the fact that staff at breakfast seemed to be cleaning the area all the time throughout the two mornings we were there, even though the breakfast time runs until late.

Ibis in Paris was ok, nothing to complain about. Breakfast was a little over priced compared to other Accor facilities. The parking facilities let this property down but charging ridiculous amounts of money for 3 days, €81 total

« We Thought it would be great stay in Paris for our dream trip of 5 years of marriage, but it was not !! »

I booked the hotel for 2 days (Oct 31st and Nov 1st.), the reception staff were very flat faced, did not greet with a smile and welcome to the hotel. The room I got (paid about $160 per night), the room was very small, we could not even put our two suitcases properly: the toilet and bath was very small, like in the airplane, there were no Iron, no tea or coffee, water, no refrigerator or microwave in the room. We still decided to stay two more days. When we extend two day more, we asked the reception if they can give us our new room (which we paid for Executive room $180 per night). The reception people, told us we have to check out and check in, bring our luggage to downstairs at 12 noon and check in again at 2pm. So we pack our bags, and brought them again downstairs at the reception on Nov 2nd at noon, the young girl in reception was very unprofessional and rude to us, we asked her where we can place our luggage for next 2 hours, she took us to a office and showed us to place them on the corner of that room, while I was putting my backpack on the corner, there was a plastic folder holder (cost in office depot @ $3) in the wall, and it was broke, I said sorry about that, the girl was mad and she told that to another lady sitting nearby, the receptionist girl got very annoyed and rude, but I was ready to pay for it. Then she told that to all other reception staffs, in the hotel. after two days living in a executive suit when we were living on 4th November, we asked the reception people if we can leave our luggage for several hours and pick up in the evening when leave for the Airport, they said flat out NO. Although previous night we asked night reception person, that if we can leave our luggage for several hours and pick them up in the evening. We never expected these kind of bad customer service in a 3 star hotel like IBIS, these kind of customer service will make you lose many American Customer like us in future. The reception staffs need to be trained in good customer service with smile, ready to serve the customers, customers are the backbone of any business. We are not happy with IBIS service!!

« Three day stay before returning to Australia after a cruise. »

My wife and I have stayed here before a couple of years ago, not much has changed except the reception area. Not too sure whether I like this trend to do away with the reception desk and it was not clear who was staff at first. Staff friendly and efficient, room was tiny as per Ibis hotels, bed okay, breakfast usual continental and ok. The location is good with Metro, restaurants close by and easy walk to Eiffel Tower.
