Good central location, was able to walk to all the sights. Tram 1 stop is right outside so easy to get to the train station with luggage. Nice bar with a selection of belguim beers. Friendly staff. Room was small as expected and the bathrrom was a bit tired and worn, but clean. Beds were very comfortable. Fortunately we didn't need the air conditioning as it made a loud squealing noise. Didn't have the breakfast as it was way too expensive.

It was a nice stay. What i missed was a watercooker in the room and tea. There was nothing to drink and we needed to go out and buy something.

The aircon is making noise

Good location, average experience

Had to change rooms after the first night. Being close to the lift the room was noisy & had other guests trying the door several times during the night. On changing rooms however, the remainder of the stay was much better. Limited food choices so much better to eat out. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Short stay from Friday to Monday in the end of March. Comfortable beds, well planned rooms. The breakfast was great. Just missing some vegetables. Helpful and friendly staff.

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Rooms extremely basic - not even a kettle. Also very small - can barely turn around in the bathroom.

Positive: Room is very clean Negative: Very noisy air-condition, told reception but reply was 'it's the same in every room'. I didnt even ask for a change but just someone to look at and they say no. Diamond status did not get free breakfast on sunday. Slept with the window open for ventilation and couldnt sleep due to noise on sunday morning from the party crowd, noisy cleaning vehicle at the next building before 7am on Monday morning. Room: 321

Centrally located in Gent (a beautiful, old city). Tram stops just outside. City centre a short walk away. The soundproofing of the rooms aren't too good, so make sure to ask for a room far down the corridor away from stairs and lifts.

I have to admit that the beauty of my visit is mainly because of the place I stayed at. If you are visiting Ghent and you should, Stay at Ibis Gent Centrum Opera (there are other Ibis properties in the area) There is a tram station right in front of you, you are walking distance to the shopping alley that leads to the main attraction, and when you get tired of walking, you can hop on the tram which will stop right in front of the hotel I am so happy I chose this location coz I considered a few others in the area. Oh and you are near restaurants which are open in the evening, coz most of them close at 6pm The room is spacious, cleaaaan, the team is professional. Thank you!

average accommodation ,had to pay 15£ extra for parking from 10pm-8am and that was disappointing...rooms are small and outdated ..on the other hand ,staff where excellent ,friendly and professional. city is beautiful and location is great.

A very good, comfortable hotel. Great staff who would do anything for you. Very well stocked bar, some great beers, I'm a country of great beers. Only one complaint - only one bedside table in the room.
