The hotel is good in location. Very close to china town if you want to taste chinese food. Walking distance to coach station, new street rail station and bullring and new street shops. The reception is also very efficient.

Other guests shutting their doors loudly in the night and noisy nightclubs outside. It was very hot and I couldn't open the windows for ventilation, due to the noise. The Air con was also, not very effective and noisy. Luckily I had some ear plugs, which helped me get some sleep at least. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and location was good for the station.

Lobby has been decorated to a modern style. Outside of the hotel looks grimy and other parts feel a bit older. Room was very clean. Breakfast was quiet and has a good but basic selection of fried foods and toast, pastries, teas and coffees (machine).

Clean and tidy, friendly welcoming staff, bed was comfy, shower decent. Great location for central Birmingham and great price. Not the height of luxury but perfect for our overnight stay to see concert. Nothing to complain about!

I liked the location and my room. The shower was a bit runny, but it did not bother me too much. The room was prepared clean. Staff, including maintenance, was very nice and welcoming (my special thanks go to Amanda, I hope I remember her name correctly), although I did have to ask various members of the staff to call for the maintenance twice, so in the future that could improve. The only thing I did not appreciate is the hotel not having the landline phone. I do not use whatsapps and alike, and for European guests messaging costs extra. It is also a bigger burden on the staff, and it excludes something like a wake-up call, which is useful for early flyers. But overall, I am very happy I chose this hotel, and really liked my room.

Friendly amd informative staff. Clean rooms and nice bar area. Would've been better if the carpaek was better advertised when booking otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my money getting the train.

Good parking under the hotel, reception staff lovely, Hotel room way too hot and by a nightclub so loud music until early in the morning. Breakfast cold.... We asked for quiet room on a low floor, and we got a room on the top floor next to night club!

Good, reasonably sized rooms. Overall they appeared clean, except for a slight margin of dusty carpet next to all the walls. Problems with swipe card not working, staff insisted on re-using the same card (3 times) which then failed again every time after 1 or 2 uses, probably due to a worn out magnetic strip. Not good, being stuck outside room and to keep having to go to reception to get the card re-done. Staff were all very friendly, however sometimes a bit thin on the ground. When we first arrived there was a 15 minute wait to check in since 3 staff appeared to be in a lengthy meeting near the bar in reception, leaving only one person on reception. Good value for money, we would come again (hopefully they might have some new door key-cards).

Shower room rather small but adequate. Beware which side of the hotel your room is situated. There is a night club on one side that is pumping out beats until 02:30. Breakfast buffet really disappointing - dried scrambled egg, bacon fit for repairing shoes and sausages barely warm. The staff must have been aware as I was not charged even without my complaining. Apart from that it suited my one night stay and the car park is very useful - all city parking is expensive!

Room 434, clean, comfortable, noisy at night as backs onto the Arcardian. Room keys can play up unlocking the room, the staff very pleasant and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay for a night out in Birmingham.

The receptionists on shift on the Wednesday (around 5pm ) was amazing customer service, so very kind. I would definitely recommend stay here, I stayed here for 5 weeks for business purposes, reasonable price.
