Friendly reception, Nice room although air conditioning cannot be adjusted. Bar very expensive. They always run out of hot food at breakfast which takes ages to be replaced.

Beautiful lobby, depressing rooms. Unsatisfactory Menu in restaurant. Would not stay again

A pleasant if underwhelmimg stay. I pre-confirmed my reservation that was supposed provide some kind of benefit at check-in it didn’t. There was no in room guide to the hotel or any of its services. When I called to ask whether they had room service they said yes. When I asked where I could find the menu I was told it was at the front desk?? When I explained that sort of defeated the purpose a menu was kindly delivered. The room was clean, the furniture was cheap. There was nothing wrong with my stay but it was pointed out that this was part of the same chain that owns Fairmont hotels I was shocked. Not because an airport hotel should be of that same level of excellent location, grandeur or options but none of the service levels or little touches that you expect from a Fairmont were evident.

Indeed with the ALL Safe standards (Accor Label) we had to remove our room directory from the rooms for sanitary measures. We hope to be back to normal as soon as possible and we apologize for the inconvenience caused during your stay. We are part of the Accor group as the Mercure chain, however this group includes different categories of hotels from the most economical to the most luxurious. Our Mercure Bordeaux Airport is a 4 star hotel and not a palace like our dear colleagues of the Fairmont range. This explains our difference in terms of our services. We hope that despite these negative points, we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back to our Mercure Bordeaux Airport hotel. Sincerely,

Stayed here due to an early morning flight the next day, and wish I would’ve stayed longer! The decor in the common spaces and the room was so hip, modern, and trendy! The room itself was so spacious, especially for European standards. It was well-appointed with complimentary water, cookies, and a Nespresso machine, as well as luxurious Palais des Thes! The staff was incredibly helpful in booking cabs for us, and it was a nice treat they spoke our language.

Good location right next to the airport + a comfy bed. Very average "4 star" would call more a 3 star+. Not a very good room service or late night snack menu especially as we arrived in form a late night flight.

The experience was overall good. The hotel is spacious and well maintained. Only disappointment was the quality of the restaurant. Food was disappointing (lack of taste. Eg. Burger way too dry, fondue de poireaux full of water/too liquid. Restaurant staff was understanding and nice but could not do anything as the problem is the kitchen and the “chef”..

Location, restaurant and room are good. We often use this hotel for that reason. However this time we waited more than 40 min for the shuttle, having called, and calling again the receptionist pretended the shuttle had passed several times, which was false.

Very bad experience during the late reception in this hotel which I appreciate so much! And this, on two occasions in the same evening. Certainly distracted, this agent at the reception, but frustrating for me!
