staff were lovely and helpful, particularly when our car was too big for the nearest parking! the hotel rooms are very dated and at the least the bathrooms need updating and i would expect USB charging point in room for phones. Otherwise all was fine and was a stones throw over the bridge to walk to town centre..

Dear Ms Castillo, We recently stayed at your hotel and had a horrible time, the hotel room was absolutely filthy. We stayed there on 27 August 2022 for 1 night in room 424. There was hair everywhere, it was not vacuumed and the bathroom and toilet were so dirty too. There was mould on the ceilings. The toilet smelt like a public toilet, it just stank of urine. We were so disgusted by it. Unfortunately, we were supposed to arrive in Nantes at 3pm and with plane delays we only arrived much later. We only got to our room at around 9:15pm. After an absolutely exhausting day travelling, we went to sleep only to wake up and see how disgustingly unclean the room was. I told the front desk about how unhappy we were with our stay. He said we should have told him the day before as he would have been happy to find us a new room, but we arrived so late and we were exhausted so we didn't notice it until the morning when we checked out early. Absolutely horrible and we would like to be partly refunded as we'd prefer to avoid posting a negative review with our pictures. We look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes, Natasha

There were two issues with the chambre the tapis was very dirty and the bed wasn’t properly fixed ( when you sat at the end of the bed the mattress rose up at the head of the bed)

Please see above. The problem with the bed didn’t cause a problem for us but could have injured someone particularly an older person or a child. The tapis was very dirty and must have been obvious to the staff who were cleaning the room so it is difficult to understand why this had not been addressed.

I have stayed here several times over the years and it always delivers. Good Novotel family rooms perfect for 4. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Location is good for visiting the Castle and the shopping streets in the centre of town. Nice and quiet location (in August).
