Far away from subway station (10 min walking). Spacious guestroom. Weight scale not working properly. No one at bar and asked welcome drink coupon at front desk. Front desk staff made us coffee. Cellphone charger not working at all.

Breakfast excellent. Happy Hour room horrible with its very loud disco noise which makes impossible to discuss or think peacefully. My best thanks to the nice personals who allowed me to eat in a silent room next to the banging noise.

On arrival I realized I had booked the wrong dates, 7 - 15/10, when in fact I required 6-15/10, the front desk said this was no problem and took payment for the extra night 6th, unfortunately when I paid the bill on returning home I realized there was no receipt for the extra night 6th, find this really poor from a 4 star accommodation, can you kindly forward the missing receipt, thanks.

Only there for 2 nights but was under 24 hour quarantine so di not get the full benefit of this Hotel.

Very good ini overall satisfaction. One thing note is that I was not able to utilize the swimming pool due to the cleaning on Monday. I didn't expect it since the check in rep didn't inform me of anything when I check in.

Had great experience staying at the hotel Stayed there for a bit more than 2 months Everyone is super nice. Thanks to vallet, concierge, front desk and house keeper teams. I emailed hotel directly to make reservation and if it wasnt celina K. i would have not stated at this hotel. She was super responsive and helpful. Also, Brian Yoon at the front desk handled all my questions and need during my stay for two months. Thanks again to everyone at this hotel and i will definitely stay at this hotel for my next visit

I stay every year more than 100 nights in this hotel. The location, and the staff are great. the hotel rooms are small with a noisy air condition and a strange light system. the hotel is expensive for such a small room. the hotel is very well connected with the public transportation system and he has a nice health club with pool and good but expensive restaurants

it was lovely to stay there. From front desk they upgraded the room and gave me free drink coupons. Room was cosy and spacious for 2 people. It takes 8 mins from sinnonhyun subway station. Also the decorations at the 1st floor was marvelous which goes well with this season.

Watch out for arrogant overcharging

I understand that mistakes can occur but .... On checking out of the Novotel Ambassador Gangnam, I thought I was being substantially overcharged, but was assured that all charges were correct. However, before leaving the hotel lobby, I had the chance to review copies of my booking confirmations. They all showed I had clearly been overcharged. So, I returned to the check-out desk and raised my concerns with the duty manager. To my utter surprise, he arrogantly dismissed the matter, adamantly asserted all charges were correct, notwithstanding being shown the booking confirmations on my iPhone which proved the contrary. It was only after I later emailed the hotel with copies of their bill plus the booking confirmations that someone else took enough interest in the matter to properly consider the charges and realise an error had been made. So, yes the problem was ultimately resolved ... but who really wants to go through the hassle of having to chase and chase a hotel to simply get the charges correct? I know I don't. As a gold member of Accor I expected a lot better service, certainly not the disrespectful attitude of reception staff/management. The hotel itself is fine, but there's plenty of other fine hotels in Gangnam where staff can be relied on to behave much better. Accordingly, I'll be going elsewhere in future.
