Although we didn’t get to spend a lot of time at the resort as we were visiting friends, we were impressed enough to want to visit again. It was very peaceful.

Our overnight stay 21/11/20 was seemingly delightful as we were catching up with great friends until we went to dinner. This was a total debarcle! The hotel reservations dept hadn’t advised the kitchen of the number of guests and the main dining room was closed, but had to be opened as there was no room for people to sit. We had to then line up outside in the bar area for 1/2 hr to finally get to the head of the queue to be told that they had run out of the seafood tower and we would have to choose something else....not good Novotel, I thought you could do better than that! Hence my rating!

Had our Wedding at the resort last year so returned for our anniversary as we live locally. Very relaxing, quiet time of the year, fantastic location. Only thing that could have been better was the bar/restaurant closes at 20:00. Also lake activities kayaking etc not in use due to Covid/out of season but didn't really bother us on this occasion. But very good when things return to normal as we experienced last year. Perfect for a short break in its current state, stay longer post Covid.

Cleanliness was a little poor around corners, edges, dusting. Nothing major but noticeable. The facility is in dire need of some TLC across the board. Frustrating that there was no room service on offer and limited dining options for such a large resort. Understand Covid makes things hard but I’ve had significantly better hotel experiences since restrictions. My rating is based on the value for money of the experience. We stayed with other guests whom were there for a wedding at the golf club and they made significant effort to let us know Twin Waters used to be much better a few years ago.

Very nice room with lovely garden views, fun facilities with kayaks and sailboats to play with on the lake. Dinner was very nice with friendly staff. Definitely will stay here again when opportunity allows

We were attending our daughters formal in the conference centre to decided to book a room. I initially booked a double room but then we decided that my other daughter would attend with us so I cancelled my first booking and rebooked a twin room. We quickly ducked out of the formal to check in and when we arrived I was informed that there were two room booked in my name. I explained that I had cancelled the first booking and rebooked. Sam who was on check in that evening informed me that no the first booking had not been cancelled and there were two booking. He asked which day I had cancelled and I told him that I had cancelled and rebooked on the same day. He said that there was definately no cancellation. I then realised that he was trying to tell me that I was going to have to pay for two rooms as no cancellation had been registered. When I asked him what would happen he said yes unless I can show him proof then that would be the case. I frantically searched my emails on my phone and thankfully I had received a cancellation email. I showed Sam my email. He offered no apology, just asked me to forward that email to him so that he could show reservations. This all took much longer than it should have and we were wanting to get back to our daughters formal. We were given our keys and when we asked if we could get a buggy lift back to the conference centre we were advised that everyone was busy but he would see how he would go. We then quickly dropped all our belongings to our room and phoned receptions as advised to see if anyone could come and pick us up. And no surprise reception did not pick up after 3 attempts so we quickly walked (me in heels) back to reception. Sam said that yes sorry he was busy and couldn't answer the phone. He did organise a buggy but by this stage we had missed the beginning of the formal proceedings and had to sneak in the door to our seats. Reception made us feel like we had done the wrong thing and I have no doubt that if I hadnt been able to find that proof of cancellation that we would have been charged twice for that room. It was not my error at all and there was no apology forthcoming for the resorts error. Otherwise the resort is fine, a little old and dated but still clean and tidy.

Overall it was a nice stay , however the check in process was really disappointing. I arrived just after 2 to check in, and they said my room was not ready, so they would call me when it was ready. I waited for just under 2 hours for the room to be ready. I never received a call during this time , I had to go up and ask if it was ready. I reduced no apology from the person at the reception.

We had a wonderful time, but the wait for food and drinks was ridiculous! If the hotel had more staff I would have given my stay a 10! Also breakfast wasn't great.

It was a pleasant short break. Hotel is a short walk from the beach, good facilities, outdoor pool, a mini lake where you do sports like kayaking & hiring catamaran. Restaurant, bar & spa. Great for families.

It was at the end of the Variety Bash, so any bed would be good. I do not like showers that are in a bathtub.

It is a beautiful hotel and lovely facilities to bad the hour and a half I had to stand in line just to check in left a bad taste in my mouth I will not soon forget. There was only about 20 people in the row in front of me, and I couldn't believe it took 90 min for me to check in. I can't understand how this can not be made more streamlined as the hotel is obviously targeting clients for seminars and or large events, if you look at the beautiful available conference facilities. I would think it would be a high priority for a hotel with this type of facilities to check in large groups of people in a timely manner.

Stayed for my daughters graduation. Check in was easy, very helpful with changing room closer to venue. Friendly professional service, lovely rooms, the meal, venue & service at the graduation event was amazing!

We had a great time, only down fall was not being told that the water sports were not on mon tue. Which is fine, but not sign to say they are shut, or nothing said on arrival that they close those days. A sign or just saying at arrival that it's closed mon tue is all you need.
