Considering all the restrictions on dining, pool, day spa and cafe access room rates should be cheaper as we are not getting a full service. Breakfast waitress was rude

Disappointed - didn't get what we paid for

Reservation 978762 confirmed a Bayview Spa Suite with King Bed and when we got there we had a twin room but we didn't complain as reception was flat out with the other Sounds & Seafood guests arriving. But things just got worse from there and I understand it's difficult times under COVID conditions but we didn't have the red wine we ordered, there was beer. Then there was the issue of our friends had no cutlery, plates, no wine or glasses etc. Their food arrived first so we gave them ours and said to the staff could they bring our tower to our friends room and they said yes, and told them about the cutlery/plate issue. Twenty minutes later we found our tower in our room cold and no plates or cutlery. The staff did, after a call bring back some plates and some hot food but it was very disappointing. We last stayed her Nov 19 and we had the Suite 1 King Bed Botany Bay View and Spa which was amazing and the buffet was divine so we did have high expectations for this visit and we were very disappointed. At the very least we should have been given the room that was confirmed. We booked as soon as the email about the event came out so it wasn't as if we were one of the last people to book.

Been staying here for 25 years and always found the service to be excellent. The rooms however are very tired and well overdue for a refurbishment. Also disappointing that the Foxtel seems to be not connected.

All the staff and the room was great until the last night load obnoxious people were put in the room next to us the noise started at 12.30am we complained to management and they were spoken to this continued on and we complained approximately 2am the people were spoken to again it was all quite for about 20 minutes then the load voices and the smell of cigarette smoke was coming into our room as my wife only came out of hospital the morning before she needed rest so we packed up and left the venue at around 3.30am and returned home to Tea Gardens we were not expecting to have to travel at that time of the morning

We booked over the phone but when we arrived there was no record of us booking! This was the 3rd time staying in 3 months. Normally the rooms are beautiful but this time the bath wouldn’t fill up water just trickled out of the tap the shower was mouldy the bathroom door wouldn’t lock or shut properly without slamming it and the people next to us were smoking. The room was an upgrade and I honestly wish I had of just stayed in the cheaper room.

Overall stay was good. Communicating about breakfast availability times and advised that coffee and tea (mil, sugar etc) was not available in rooms would have helped.

Room was suitable however the dining and breakfast has room for improvement.I was sorry that I booked and paid for breakfast as I would have been better going to one of the local cafes.I was looking forward to the buffet breakfast and was disappointed.Dinner was also disappointing we had dinner one night and the other two nights went outside better value and better food

We had a great suite on the top floor and the views were phenomenal. Great location for restaurants and getting out.
