The rooms are renovated and very comfortable however staff are a bit rude. It feels like they’re forcefully accommodating especially how one of the staff raised their voice at my friend for not wearing a mask while we were checking out, I don’t think there’s need for that. The spa was very warm closer to cold which was a bit disappointing however the overall stay was fine.

Our room was lovely and we enjoyed the great views from the balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom area well set so that two people could be in the area at the same time. We are an older couple (69 & 71) so there were a few issues for us. We were looking forward to leisurely time on the balcony relaxing and watching the world go by but found that we could only sit out there for about 15 minutes. After that time we found our backs did not enjoy the chairs any longer and we had to move inside. It was similar with the couch. Even with pillows behind our backs, the couch became uncomfortable for us. We do have health issues, ie back conditions and arthritis, so we understand that this would have contributed to the above issues but as we stayed for 3 days we were looking forward to a more comfortable time. Having said that we did enjoy our time at Novotel and the staff were extremely helpful.

We arrived at Novatel Brighton Saturday 17th we booked a room all Was good .. we checked in to our room turned the air conditioner on an was blowing no cold air .. we rang and explained what was wrong they sent maintenance up to check it out twice they finally moved us to room next door to find when we changed rooms the same problem was in that room as well . They then moved us to a 3 rd room and time being 5 pm that room still had the same problem no aircon as well … I’ve stayed there in Novatel over the years but this was the most mixed stay I’ve experienced… in our move to 3 rooms we left our iPhone charger in one ov the rooms .. as soon as we got home I rang 3 times and explained what had happened and I know our phone charger was left in one ov the rooms and we still haven’t had a return call to say if they found out charger… I’m not happy with the whole inconvenience we had that no 1 has had the decency to return my call …. I would appreciate if Novatel would replace out charger as all we wanted was a return call as this was our most inconvenienced stay there .. we love the place but it was like there was no care to what we experienced…. Happy for management to call me to chat with them yo how yo make us wanna stay there again … 3 rooms and no air conditioning isn’t good enough especially when we paid a top price to stay there .. feel free to call me on 04… we were planning to have our wedding. Guests stay there but I need convincing this won’t happen again … regards Sergio R.

We most certainly will work on organizing a resolution to this with the Housekeeping team, so that you are not without this device. We truly do care for the experience you had and will work with the team to rectify for the inadequacies of this stay and then moving forward if you wanted to visit the property again. I would also appreciate the chance to talk further over your experience at the property. I myself am back on Saturday and if you had a preferred time we could connect, I can give you a call so we can work towards remedying a solution that will ensure you will have the confidence to return yourselves and also have other members of your circle return for your wonderful upcoming nuptial. Gorgeous room, however felt the bathroom was a bit small, you have a big sitting room , very tiny bathroom, the ceiling too low in bathroon getting dressed and undressed. Even the toliet not enough space to fit comfortably. I had no hot water in mornings 0515am when i showered. Bed was amazing! Very comfy. . One day i had room service to make my room up, was not a standard that was on other days day 2 this was pillows thrown on bed not nearly sheets wasn't tucked in. And glasses wasn't cleaned, rubbish not taken out.

I found the Staff at Reception Desk and to the Cleaning Lady who tended to our room daily to be extremely efficient, kind and extremely caring towards myself and my Husband. I was staying at the Novotel, as I had back surgery. They went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was so very comfortable and that nothing was any trouble if I required anything. The room was extremely clean and well maintained.

As Bayside was a COVID-19 😷 hotspot I was able to check-in at 12 noon and checkout at 1330 the next day. The reason for staying was that my partner was in St.George Private Hospital overnight,saving me the the long drive back to the Blue Mountains.

Very disappointed that I arrived early but reception advised I could not use wifi until I checked in at 2pm yet public areas hv free wifi. Also rooms are only cleaned every second day. So I was left with a plastic lid from goodness knows what from the previous occupant left on the floor in the centre of my room. However housekeeping advised I could hv a fresh towel but won’t clean the room as they only clean every second day. What happened to the complimentary drink voucher for Accor plus members? My daughter also stayed on 2 separate occasions the week prior and a couple of weeks earlier and received a voucher on one occasion but not the other.

Room was very presentable with all that we needed for our stay. Sleep disturbed by the hoons. TV seems to have a problem with it dropping out for a few seconds on a regular cycle. Reported it. It will be so much better when all of the renovations are finished. The lift from B2 to level 1 needs attention eg better label for "floor 1" and signs to direct you to the Novotel reception area.
