Please exclude the staff from this not so good review because they were excellent, courteous, attentive, professional… Please take this as a constructive criticism, again this has nothing to do with the staff, they were amazing. My room needed an urgent upgrade, it was clean but bathrooms tiles and edges were encrusted with grime that no cleaning personnel can remove. The bathroom had an infestation of flying insects, I killed about 45 in my 3 day stay and the carpet was colored beige once I guess and now taupe-grey with stains and I can go on and on. I can’t believe this hotel has the Novotel brand name. I have photos of all mention above.

Generelly it is ok, nearly to the highway, and you can park your there and go with the bus easily to the city center. The service is good. Sofa bed is very friendly to family trip. There are also some restrants in walking distance.

Excellent location, cheap parking. Rooms a bit outdated but spotless clean. Big "no" is the breakfast. It's cheap, tasty and good quality but the "covid-organization" is pure chaos... We waited 30 min the first day and then needed to wait another 5/10 to have a table (as many people were "blocking" tables BEFORE they had food). Second day was even worst : the restaurant was really crowded, kids running not controlled (not 1 or 2, think more like 15/20), all tables full (again blocked by people without food). We decided to return back later - after 30 minutes the situation was still the same. So we tried to return after 10 minutes (when breakfast hours were almost finishing). It was a bit better and less crowded. IT's a pity : the personnel is nice, the quality of the products is excellent but the organization was really chaotic. Also, they should not alow people to block tables without food. This was frustrating and quite

The hotel is easy to access with the right parking size.The location is easy from the down town of Genova. Bus are easy to access as well. The big issue we were facing is that we were not able to have breakfast as a queue of more than 1Hour. I would have liked the hotel to notify me when I arrived so that I could find another option and also not pay for it.

its not novotel quality. the worst novotel I've ever been. The rug on the floor was disgusting. The bathtub doesn't work (can't pull up the plug when full of water). Bathroom is like from 80-90 everything was old and dirty. Toilet seat was yellow and cracked. only good thing was the view, Genoa lighthouse is right in front.

the room is clean, the personal are friendly, the pool is clean. The breakfast buffet was a bit chaos because you have to wait pretty long since you could not take it by yourself because of covid. the coffee machine could be a bit better.

We didn't use facilities other than our room and it was comfortable and clean. Breakfast, considering the pandemic situation, maybe could have been organized differently ? with prebooked schedules to avoid having so many people at once in a single lane for example. Staff was helpful, parking is a plus .

This time, I had the rare chance of being in the hotel in the afternoon. For some children the floor hallway was a racing track with unlimited noise making. Unfortunately their parents were not interested in minding their off-springs and I used my noise cancelling headphone to reduce the noise. The room with bed and shower facilities were good.

It was the worst hotel experience in my life. There were several issues as from our arrival… lines for checkin, room was not properly set up (we made reservations for a family room, but only one bed was ready), we did not have enough pillows neither blankets… safe was not working… staff was slow to solve issues and did not do it with care and courtesy… parking lot entrance broken, very tight parking spots, HUGE line for breakfast, problems to use swimming pool, etc… several issues which forced me to leave the hotel (and the city) one night before original reservation and lose time/money.

The hotel was very nice placed to sleep there for one night but its furniture is very old fashion not in a classic way, just old and kind of deteriorating on the carpet and shower. The A/C is pretty noisy. I think with a good refurbishment I will consider to go again there, otherwise you must lower the classification and princing.

We stayed twice at the Novotel in Genoa. The 1st time it poured rain and both rooms and the evacuation doors leaked like a sieve. Both times the carpet needed vacuuming in the rooms and the foyer bar areas. If not they need to be replaced. I dusted two cushioned chairs to sit on and plumes of dust came off them. But, staff on the front desk were excellent and you couldn't want for more. The lunchtime buffet was great and breakfast was excellent with a big variety to offer. Coffee and tea in all rooms would be better than just in some rooms. Yes I would go back again, but the carpet and water leaks need to be addressed.

Regular Novotel, Nice that they have a piano. When we arrived we got a welcome drink, but only for 1 px? So the rest (3 px) we had to pay?? (We never experienced this before) So this Novotel only uses the accor loyalty program to raise their revenue.
