Comfortable and well-appointed rooms and great staff. Disappointed that the ground floor area was still being re-modelled after our previous visit in December - seems unnecessary as it was fine before and introduces clutter into what was a clear space. Our major issue was that on the second night (out of 3) we were kept awake by an intermittent noise that seemed to be coming from directly above our bathroom (510) which sounded like drilling, or a water pump. At 02.00 I went down to reception to investigate. While I was there my wife recorded the noise on her phone. The night staff sought to find the cause of the noise but were unsuccessful. We were offered an alternative room which my wife and daughter moved to, but I stayed put as we had too much luggage to move. There was no more noise that night but it recurred on the following afternoon. We lost a night's sleep which spoiled our plans for Saturday. On checking out on Sunday, the manager was extremely helpful and sympathetic, said he would raise it with his manager and we exchanged contact details. However I don't believe I heard back and trust we have not been charged for the second room. Other than this event, we have been staying at this hotel over a 20-year period and rarely had any problems.

The room and the parking facility very nice, The service from the bar in the lobby was not at all good waited at least 20 mins to receive a bottle of wine only to have it served warm. Also upon return to the hotel after dinner could not get a nightcap at exactly midnight a bit much for a guest.

Most things went went well service was great, the meal options were satisfactory. The bad sides of our sty was the room and the construction work that was going on the ground floor. The room was small compared to what I have seen on the picture and too sympathetic. The room will be fine for business traveler but not great for a relaxing holiday with a family. The dusty corridor and main reception was not nice.

Always go there, location is convenient but this year with the renovation of the place didn’t make the stay plaisant! Could at least tell the clients and give a discounted price!

The hotel was under construction and we were not notified in advance. There was a strong smell of paint / building materials and most of the hotel was unusable.

The ground floor is a mess. Temporary reception area. Building in progress on ground floor looks unwelcoming and makes guests feel like they are staying in a building site. Breakfast was in a makeshift canteen. Accor should make clear that the hotel is undergoing refurbishment when guests book. Either the hotel should be shut while the work is going on or you should discount the room rate. You shouldn't charge full price for this. You are devaluing the Novotel brand.

Rooms comfortable enough. But a couple of things to improve - non-slip mats in the bath and a grab rail. The big problem was the ongoing internal refurbishment works. I was warned on the web site when I booked but still. And one of the three lifts did not reach the ground floor. If that one arrived you were advised to take another but you cannot choose a lift!! It should have been deactivated for the duration.

Great and quiet room. very large and with modern bathroom. 7th floor, facing the square behind the hotel free minibar and coffee machine in the room Good breakfast even if the room is a bit packed... but this is probably temporary during renovations. smooth check in chech out... Upgraded as diamond... although no communication or mention of it at check in ... but what counts is to be upgraded... :-)

The lobby and main areas of the hotel were all under construction. The lifts did not all connect to the ground floor. There was no warning of this at the time of booking, which was not far in advance.
