I stayed at the this hotel for 6 days. I was extremely happy with every aspect of this hotel. All of the staff were so wonderful, friendly and helpful. The staff from the reception, Bar, Dining, Breakfast Room and the cleaning staff were all brilliant. The meals were of a very high standard. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Darwin.

I felt that the Novatel Darwin was not up the the standard expected of this hotel. I felt it was "very tired" - the carpets did not smell fresh, the bathroom was a "little ordinary" we had requested a twin room, but was offered an upgrade, however this was not a twin room, they them allocated another room, which was comfortable, but not to usual standard - no complimentary bottled water (or any bottled water) in the room. The atrium needed tidying up, - overall probably could do with a coat of fresh paint in the hallways and I think the carpets could do with more frequent shampooing. The food was "average" but the staff made it enjoyable Overall - felt it was just a "little tired" - Seems like when I choose Novatel ie in my London stay a couple of heats ago, and in Darwin a little disappointed

Average accommodation Hotel needs cleaning. Carpet in front of our room had a large hole in it, off putting on arrival. Air conditioning was noisy and making clicking noises. We notified reception however nothing was done about it. Air conditioning unit was filthy - WH&S issue. Breakfast menu was average and limited. As we were leaving early due to flight time, we were advised by reception we were only entitled to a limited breakfast (we booked full breakfasts through Flight Centre). Laundry was adequate

The rooms and hotel is clean, though quite "tired" and dated.

Over April and May, we have completed about 75% of a complete refresh. This includes painting, lighting, AC servicing, and other general repairs as required. We have now opened the bar and restaurant daily for lunch and dinner in addition to breakfast. We are also replacing all bar furniture and implementing new menus across our bar and restaurant facilities. I know this information doesn't improve your experience with us, however i am certainly committed, as are our owners and Accor to improving our product and offering. help from staff was excellent, especially the lady in the restarant. I felt it was a tired hotel, carpets looked unclean. The outside swimming pool was a joke. Look, we enjoyed our stay but we wont be back, would definately go elsewhere.

Excellent location close to the heart of Darwin and easy to get everywhere. Warm welcome, good staff, but rooms are becoming very tired - bathrooms look 30 years old, A/C very noisy, but comfortable bed.

Novotel D. CBD is well located, opposite the ocean and a couple of blocks from the main street and shopping area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our Junior Suite was roomy and comfortable. Pool was great.

Hi Simon, I have just received the feedback request email and have decided to write to you directly after an incredibly disappointing stay last week at your Novotel Darwin CBD hotel. My boyfriend and I were disgusted from the minute of our arrival, we stayed two nights the 24th and 25th of May, 2021. Attached is a photo of the bathroom and mould plus there were hairs in there that were not ours- we hadn't showered yet and the walls were covered. We gave this feedback on two occasions to the front desk who took notes and said somebody would get in touch with us to deal with this- that never happened. There were also stains on the white bedding so we picked the bed we thought was cleanest to sleep on but have never been more mortified in our lives and it wasn't the cheapest accommodation choice in Darwin, after leaving the Novotel we stayed at two different chalets in Free Spirit Caravan Park and Discovery Caravan park for one third of the price of your accommodation and they were IMMACULATE. I'd appreciate a credit of some sort or some sort of compensation for how poorly this was handled and the rooms need a huge make over and scrub top to bottom, surely that hotel can't go on renting rooms of that poor a quality.

Dreadful rooms, not particularly clean, decor dated and in ill repair. Towels had seen better days several years ago and were also not clean.

Stayed one night and then went on a trip to Kakadu. They were happy to store luggage we didn't need on that trip. Dined that night in the hotel dining room and had a really lovely meal. Stayed 3 nights after Kakadu and loved using the spotless pool and had a lovely unit that time. Very pleasant stay with helpful staff.
