Check-in was not a good experience, breakfast was very disappointing, but check out with the duty manager was excellent, he fixed up everyone mistake as i was charged twice for the room. After dealing with the duty manager i left a happy customer. Thank you.

Oh my goodness, what an amazing team you have! My hat goes off to the young gentleman who does Night audit. As a previous heartist and night manager myself he perfectly made me feel welcome, nothing was too much for him and each entry and exit from the property a smile or greeting was given. The room was nice and clean, great view and comfy bed. I would just like to say I was unimpressed with no restaurant or bar and no daily housekeeping of the rooms. Even though we are still going through COVID-19 daily housekeeping should still be provided If none of the above was going to be provided I should of been notified prior to check in and a discounted rate or credit should of been provided as relatives of mine stayed in a hotel 1 street away and had all of the above facilities provided.

Stay was good. Difficult to comment on a number of things due the the limitations that are in place with CoVID-19. Staff were accommodating and helpful in booking dinner and getting us in somewhere.

Staff extremely helpful. I stayed there due to operation on my hand. The staff were great and helped with wrapping up my hand so I could shower. Very satisfying stay.

Checked in to our usual Novotel but things were a little different during Covid times. Car parking was easy because it was pretty empty and an upgrade to the premium floor was nice. The restaurant and bar were closed but room service was available. Actually getting food in take away containers kept the food hotter than if it was plated so no complaints there.

The stay was fine as expected. Covid-19 has a lot to answer for. Two issues. 1. Once I got over the shock of my room service turning up in a brown paper bag which I quite understand, it was made worse when I saw the quality, presentation and the portioning of the schnitzel on top of the left over dregs of soggy chips, the side of vegies just covering the bottom of a chip cup ($8.00 worth). I pointed this out to the receptionist and he asked for the photos and discounted some of the bill. I UNDERSTAND THE CURRENT CLIMATE BUT I DONT EXPECT ANYONE TO HAVE A LEND OF ME. Breakfast, without me having not said anything at this point was 100 % better. Still in paper bags and disposable products. 2. A small German cockroach in the tea drawer. Reported to receptionist at check out. All else ok, my wife asked why didn't I stay at Sofitel!!!! My brother and I both stay regularly at the Novotel. Thank you Paul C. 04…

Whilst we stayed during covid and some facilities were out of action, there were still plenty of local amenities and front desk staff went above and beyond.

Online Check in functionality on the email i was sent did not work Was given a breakfast menu at check-in (the ones you hang on the door) with no instruction to return this to reception. Even the letter i got didn't have this. Breakfast was therefore not delivered because the menu wasn't collected. I called room service only to be told that they weren't collecting them and i needed to take it to reception. Finally got breakfast and needed to leave it half eaten because i was not late. Understand the hotel is quite but it felt extremely sterile

Dreadful from start to finish.......having stayed in a nearby hotel for less money in early May under full restrictions and having a wonderful experience I don’t know how you can shame to take money for the experience you are currently offering. It’s not a case of can’t offer certain services or regular in room items ......it’s won’t at the Novotel because you can get away with it. We had cups, glasses, coffee machine, plated meals, full tv service and adequate room decor back in early May so why you can’t offer it ten weeks later is beyond me. The cleanliness of the room also left an awful lot to be desired considering your supposed strict approach to other areas. If you are not offering 4 or 4.5 star accomodation you shouldn’t be selling it as such and should be clear that all that’s on offer at your hotel currently is a bed in a room. There weren’t even enough towels for the whole family to enjoy a shower........although we didn’t stay long enough to bother. We checked out before day break the next morning despite having paid for breakfast after being woken at 4.30am by a drunken disturbance in a neighbouring room...... What do you do with two kids wide awake at that time in the morning in a hotel room without access to even adequate tv entertainment. You’re winning if you have a samsung device to mirror to the tv but screwed if you own apple devices. We figured we could have our bags packed in 10-15 minutes and be home on our sofa in front of the tv enjoying breakfast long before we could have eaten there. All in all the experience was way below expectation having stayed with you previously in November 2017 and thoroughly enjoying our visit. It shouldn’t be a case of only offering what you can get away with, other establishments are back up and running offering a wonderful experience. Your standards are far from expected and hospitality was non existent. Our weekend break was supposed to be a relaxing treat prior to having surgery next week but I can honestly say I’ve never been so disappointed with a hotel stay......

We have taken a number of measures to comply with Covid-safe guidelines, which includes removing collateral and excess towelling from rooms, as this must all now be removed after a guest's departure, regardless of use, however extra supplies are always available on request. Some items have also been replaced with disposable alternatives for the same reason. A number of changes have been made due to the pandemic since your last stay in May, though I apologise if your visit fell below expectations as a result. I am concerned to hear that there were some cleanliness shortfalls in your room, as this is a particular area of focus for us. If you are able to provide any details so I can follow up, that would be most helpful. We appreciate you sharing your concerns and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. As a goodwill gesture, I would like to offer you a 50% accommodation discount and a complimentary upgrade for a future stay. With the dining room and bar closed plus I chose not to have room service. Not really any opportunities to test your services other the receptionist who was pleasant and helpful.
