Staff were very helpful and looked after me as the Covid-19 restrictions were being implemented around us and things were changing by the hour! While not the relaxing holiday I had planned, I was in good hands and look forward to coming back to Perth and enjoying the holiday in safer times. My room was excellent and very comfortable and room service was great.

Stayed overnight to celelbrate our 54 the Wedding anniversary. Our check-in experience was efficient as usual & we chose to take advantage of the valet parking. We were delighted to find that we had been up graded to a suite. In addition receieved a bottle of wine & lovely chocolate treats. A sincere thank you from my husband & self. It was much appreciated. We decided to have breakfast in our suite. Breakfast arrived on time & we were able to enjoy it @ a leisurely pace as check out time was not until 11.00am.

Lack lustre underwhelming so much so I would never recommend anyone to stay there. Poor evening check in service at reception...only good things we have to say is bartender friendly. Bar snacks and buffet great.

Had some issue with the room but was fixed. Although the restaurant could not cater for GF although very minimal options and made my wife ill.

Early morning flights are a bit of a pain. Got in around 6.30 am and room not prepared. This is not unusual and I expected a wait. Front Desk handled it well. Made me comfortable in dining room with coffee and whatever else I wanted to while away the time. Friendly and chatty staff. Room was excellent, large, views of Perth from the 12th floor. Clean and all amenities. Do it yourself laundry a bit of a surprise. Had two trousers dry cleaned but no shirts or other clothing as the pricing was a little over the top. The hotel has a coin operated laundry for guests to "do it themselves". No problems with this. Food great. Location ideal. Checked out early due to concerns over the Covid-19 and possibility of being locked out of Thailand. Staff handled everything without any hassles and everything worked smoothly and seamlessly.

The issues are described in the things to improved, this was luckily offset by the girls of the food and beverage team Carmen (she remembered her name badge one day so able to get her name to include in my review), Amy and Susanne. They remember my drinks order, room number and position I liked to sit in the restaurant. More importantly had a personality, rather then give off the vibe I am just here because I have to be. This made me feel more then just a number and is why when I come to Perth I stay at the Mercure and not other accor hotels in the CBD where this does not happen. If it wasn’t for the girls my next stay in Perth CBD would not be the Mercure. I rarely write reviews unless outstanding service or to report a bad experience

Experience was good,however, was marred by air conditioning that was noisy, especially at night. The staff, who were very patient, did offer us another room. That room also had the same issue! So, to stop the noisy air conditioning we turned it off and opened the window. That let the noise in, especially from the instruction site across the road. The started early, around 5.45. Very annoying, not restful!

My wife and I enjoyed a great time at Mercure Perth. We were attending a Reunion of my Army Unit in Vietnam and ever member of the staff treated us with respect and went out of their way to be helpful, and I don't just mean at the Meet & Greet and the formal Dinner, both held on the premises. The Hotel itself is ideally situated, the Room was of ideal size, clean and comfortable It would have been nice to have enjoyed a cold VB at the Bar, the Restaurant served a nice Breakfast and lovely evening meal.
