The Novotel lived up to expectations. Room was clean and had a very comfortable bed, check in was efficient and can be completed online if preferred. Hotel has frequent free buses almost at the door so accessing all the CBD attractions is easy Breakfast was excellent and the nespresso machine was fabulous

Great stay. Very comfortable room. Good firm pillows, which is important to me but seems to be rare these day. Nice firm mattress. TV's in both rooms was great. There were many tables to spread out, with room for makeup application. Lots of power points for charging devices. A lack of fan in the bathroom would be my only complaint, but as there were a number of mirrors outside the bathroom, it wasn't much of an inconvenience.

I arrived late at night to check in. The tea coffee making facility counter and the safety box top were dusty so I cleaned it myself since I am sensitive to dust. Hope to have a cleaner room in my next trip. Noted there was no toothbrush and room slipper in the room. So asked from the receptionist. Not a problem, just that I would expect those basic amenities are available in room for guest.

1. We arrived at the hotel at 7-ish am. To our surprise, we were told that our room could be ready 2 hours later although we didn’t need it. Beyond expectation! 2. My wife didn’t like the smell of the initial room. Asked for a change and granted. Customer first! 3. My friends arrived at 9-ish am, but was told that their room was ready. Consistency! 4. We enjoyed the double bed for us as parents and another double bed for our kids. Thoughtful! 5. We wish that we knew that kids could have breakfast for free with parents. Because we were worried by any charges, we didn’t order our breakfast. Your kind offer to kids is certainly one of the first that we know. Family friendly!

« Overall great service but lacking in friendliness factor, evident in micro-expressions. »

Meet expectations generally. Breakfast was sometimes burnt (tomatoes), non-consistency in the serving of eggs, served to the table for some customers. I was told to self-collect. Staff definitely need more training in protocol. Manager in charge of housekeeping stormed into my room 3 seconds after pressing the bell asking me what time I would be checking out - I would appreciate more privacy though I didn't put the "Do not disturb sign", upon seeing me in bed he should have apologized and left. In fact, recep should have informed him my revised check out time. I'm stating all these without malice but wholly to highlight areas of improvement.

« Uninspiring and a little dissapointing »

From check in the delivery of our bags was delayed and slow. Room is extremely dark to the point I had to use my mobile phone as a torch to try and turn on a lamp. Bathroom is very dark and difficult to shower without getting water all over. There was no coffee other than decaf in my room on arrival or the next day. When I asked at reception for some, I felt like I almost had to explain what coffee was. Our experience in the restaurant was good, the meal was lovely, service was ok.

« Wish we could have stayed longer. »

We arrived a little early, but our room was ready so we were checked in. what a great surprise, our Accorplus membership room upgrade was to a suite with river views from all windows. The most comfortable hotel room I can remember having. I requested a late check out to cater for a medical appointment and that was granted, no trouble at all. The meals were great, the service was exceptional and I will be returning soon.

« Relaxing Overnighter »

Booking on accor website was easy and I used my free night option and paid the balance to get a junior suite. Checked in at 2.30pm, room was ready and we received the usual complimentary drink vouchers, check in was swift and professional. We had room 205, a lovely corner suite with low level views over the Swan river. As it appeared that the hotel bar was closed we popped into Fenians for a drink and were greeted by a gentleman who was probably a manager who served us well. Fenians however lacks inviting ambiance at least on a Thursday afternoon with only a handful of customers - I know from experience it is very different on St Patrick's Day. Just wanting a relaxing night, we would have preferred a comfortable couch to the two very upright armchairs, otherwise the room was well equipped for our needs. We enjoyed a spa bath although the button didn't turn the spa on but we may have missed some other piece of vital info on getting it to work but did enjoy relaxing in bubbles nevertheless. Great to have a robe to lounge around in afterwards. A very comfortable bed, pillows and nice linen. It is very welcome to have a room with an adequate number of power points. We parked in the hotel car park which is very squeezy even with an average size vehicle but there was a spot for us which was good. Checkout was as efficient as check in. We always stay here when passing through Perth often between flights as we can rely on things being just right. We didn't dine in Sen5es this time.
