Staff unhelpful, a smell in hotel, especially hallways, noisey, felt like a homeless hostel, the entrance to hotel had people smoking & spitting, will never stay again, happy to leave

Ideal location, walking distance to great shopping, restaurants and night life. Close to many tourist spots. Room was clean but was a little tight to maneuver around even for two small people. Shower kept leaking which was a little annoying and the pillows are terrible so will remember to bring my own when I stay again. Staff were great, cheerful and very helpful.

Customer Service was great and the location was spot on as I was in Perth for training. My issues were with cleanliness of room and water pressure of shower. The cleaners did the essentials eg. cups were clean, bed made, towels out etc. The dust on the kettle and toilet made me realise how much dust there was around. I slept a bit restlessly one night and when making the bed realised there were stains on the mattress protector which whilst probably washed didn't help with the cleanliness factor. Water pressure was pretty bad, had to have the hot water on full to get any heat which meant cold was barely on.

We love the location and we were able to have 'our' room for our third stay. However, there was only one set of cutlery supplied, no dishwashing cloth, liquid or teatowels, no bowls, no dustpan/broom. We requested items from housekeeping, and bought anything else for our 3 night stay. This was disappointing, even allowing for covid restrictions, as we were booked in as a couple. We will return as these were minor problems.

Was woken at 2.25am Sunday morning, after walking 35kms for charity on the Saturday. Stand outside for 30 minutes to be told we can go back to our room, with no consultation as to the cause. Then the following morning discovering that our entire floor, that had been evacuated had no hot water. Once again I walked 35km for charity the day before and would have appreciated a standard hot shower. We were informed by reception that it was a false alarm, with no apology

Checked in and went to allocated room which hadn't been serviced. Another room was reallocated and the bed was terrible, springs were noisy and indented. I've stayed at this establishment alot over the years and not sure if I would again.

I was given a room on the 8th floor that has an adjoining room. I am a light sleeper so got woken up by guest next door. Fortunately my request to change room the next day was granted. By the way the room on the 8th floor was very dated & the sink didn't drain well. The room on the 6th floor was very nice & I had a good stay. Thank you very much!

I was staying my usual two nights at the Murray Street Ibis for the medical appointment when I was required to stay over the weekend to have an operation on the Monday. that was no problem for the staff, I even got a reduced rate for the extended stay. Everyone was very helpful and could not do enough for me after the operation. I will certainly be staying there when I have my post opp. check up next week.
