Our checking was smooth, and we have enjoyed very much our stay at the hotel. We appreciate the overall quality of the service as well as the very good and comfortable facility. We believe that the location in the nature and the availability of a pool are a must for the hotel. Our kids have very much enjoyed the lovely play room available in the lobby.

Hi, I was in France while temperatures were very high (~95 / 100Deg F). Arriving in the room, it was very hot. I turned on the A/C to max but effect was very slow. Seems that A/C system reached its cooling limit.

Staying in this place frequently the recent change of staff didnt make things better. The friendliness and level of cleanliness dropped (finding some left behind flower leaves behind the toilet door), or having an argument with the receptionist to get some more coffee for the (in the chosen room rate included) minibar. Tea and a beer were missing completely.

People working at the hotel are friendly and helpful. There are different measures for COVID which is good, but the cleanliness is far from spot on. I don't think my room was cleaned with a vacuum, especially in the bathroom...

Room My room had it best time far behind it. Airco did not work (it did work according the staff but my room could not go below 25... had the 2 airco’s on full blast the hole time). The coach was patched. Burn hole in the carpet. Wall had dirty stripes on them. It’s too bad I can’t upload the photos.. they explain it well. Mini bar was empty and coffee was not there (should have been included). No soap in my room to wash my hands (hey guys, COVID!). Staff And any question to the staff they left me with a feeling of being an whiner. Now it’s fine if the staff don’t speak English, I don’t speak French.. but at least try to understand me and don’t give me an unwelcome feeling at the bar. Signage about COVID is in French only, what I don’t understand for a big hotel chain. If you ask you staff to ware face masks, they should have them on their face not chin. I had diner 2x, one simple dish was okay.. second the taste was super, but the meat was so though. I could not get it down (and I don’t expect that in France). I had huge digestive problems, but not sure it came from the restaurant. The toilet of the restaurant smelt really bad, I think from the rubber hose out the ceiling? Towels where every time empty on the toilet (did not dare to ask to the staff in English). So my tips for you 1. Sleep in your own hotel, you’ll notice a lot of little things in the room you should fix. 2. Update the rooms 3. Try to understand gastronomy 4. Let even the non-French guys feel welcome 5. Get the bar staff on a bar training, so they know what to serve and how to serve it. 6. Let people feel welcome, we are away from home.. you can make that not a bad thing 7. I’m a platinum member, some appreciation should have been nice. All in all it was a really bad hotel experience... I hope I don’t have to go back there... but for my next stay I checked the other Novotel and mercure are already full

Dear Sir, Thank you for your message, even though we would have preferred it to be more positive. I regret that we have not lived up to your expectations. With the health crisis, we have a lot of constraints, particularly with regard to the products that are given on request at the reception desk. Most of the displays are translated, for those who do not have them, it is illustrated by drawings, as for hand washing for example. Throughout your stay, the team tried to make it as pleasant as possible, by equipping your suite with an office for example, ... obviously we did not succeed. If there was a smell in the toilets, despite the air fresheners, it was not due to the hose you mentioned. We have indeed a water leak, we called an external company to repair it, it is a temporary "do-it-yourself" to avoid that the ceilings are waterlogged and do not collapse, while waiting for the intervention of the company. Thank you for your advice. If you give us a chance to regain your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our clients appreciate so much. I had made my booking online. Had prepayed everything one week in advance. I had requested a quiet room away from Lifts and Service rooms in French and in English, when I made the booking. When I arrived I was given a room directly NEXT to the elevator. My request to change the room allocation was declined by a young girl "sorry, we are fully booked". I could actually see the pile of 8 or 9 keys that had not yet arrived and it would have been very easy to change the room allocation. But the young lady could just not bother. I approached another Check-In lady and complained. She changed my allocation straight away. That was a very bad start. You make everything possible to travel in times of Corona which is not easy and your hotel staff could not care less if you live or die. Besides, the restaurant was always empty (both for Breakfast and for dinner). You were never fully booked, that was a straight lie. Next thing was the restaurant. On the first evening it was ok. Service was done by a black guy who did not really know what he did. Seemed to be a helper (commis de rang) only. The following day I had asked for the Sphaghetti who apparently had been sold out. Excuse me? Spaghetty sold out? How about getting into the car and re-plenishing the stock. If it had been lobster - OK but SPAGHETTI? Sorry, some of your staff are in the wrong business. They dont know what hospitality is all about. The room itself was ok apart from a huge stain on the floor.

The rooms are clean, but the corridor to the rooms (2nd floor), smell bad. Carpets needs a dip wash. The reception at arrival have a risk of having your credit card informations exposed. one receipt had my card info printed in full. Anyone can access it! This must change. On the coffee counter, one lady was talking to us without facing us, practically denied us everything. Her colleagues came, then he served us coffee, very friendly, professional.

We had a wonderful stay, the staff were friendly, the facilities good . we stayed for a wedding reception. The food staff and the food - both superb!! we would definitely stay there again.The ONLY downside is ...It is about 20 mins from the nearest station.Thank God for Uber!!

with not many business hotels in the area this one puts in a decent enough set of scores. good secure car park, comfortable rooms, decent wi fi, and a reasonable breakfast. Only challenge as a not very proficient French speaker was communicating with the front desk, but we got through just fine

We chose this hotel for our family break to visit Vaux-le-Vicomte and to let the kids pool and relax before we tackled Paris. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful, pool was fine (though the pool room was very hot). We had a family room and 3 doubles, all were comfortable. This was during the canicule, but 3 of the 4 rooms were able to handle the heat. Room 303 did not cool comfortably. The breakfast was good and replenished well, though the 9:30 end time seemed a little early to us. Included parking was plentiful. We would certainly stay again.

The swimming pool was closed without any information and the service in the restaurant for the diner was very non professional. However the facility for the wheel chair accessible room was pretty good.
