« Well located but don't expect much service. »

Hotel is well located near to Gare de Lyon station. However, don't expect much service from this hotel. The room has minimal amenities possible, only the 3-in-one face-body-hair soap and towels are provided. No slippers, no kettle for hot water, etc. You even have to pay for leaving the luggage at the hotel, a service that most hotels (even budget hotel) provide for free in most other countries. Not sure if this only happens with this particular hotel in Paris.

« Checkin process was a nightmare »

Thank you for providing us this opportunity to share our experience. I have been bringing groups of students to your hotel for several years now and it is increasingly frustrating to see it is always the same issue with the check in process. This year, we called your hotel 3 hours in advance, letting you know our arrival time and confirming if we could all check in at 12:30 or if we needed to make other arrangements. We were assured we could check in our entire group at 12:30 and all keys would be ready for us when we arrived. When we got there, this was not the case at all. Only 5 of our 28 rooms were ready and of the 5 rooms, all of them had to come back down because the keys wouldn't work. I was then told there was no where to store the luggage (the hotel would not allow us to store in the breakfast area) and the rest of the rooms wouldnt be ready until 3pm. After some frustrations, they were able to get the rooms ready before 3 but it was an absolute mess and many of the students on our program were frustrated as this reflects badly on me. THis is terrible because I was told by your front desk we could all check in at 12:30, if this was not the case, I would have warned the group which would have made everyone more amicable to the situation. Unfortunetly, this is not the first time this has happened and the check in has been an issues with your hotel for the past three years in a row. I do feel we should be at least comped for the lecture space we had to pay for.

Hotel was very accessible to many different places, especially being only a few minutes walk to Gare de Lyon train station. Rooms were a little on the small side for 2 singles, but were very neat and clean. Staff were more than friendly and due to the recent train/bus strikes, the staff did everything they could to assist us with information on how we could get to our destination on any given day. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Thank you to everyone for making our stay very pleasant & a wonderful experience. Merci :-)

Check in, room, breakfast fine. Whilst this is a 3 star hotel having no iron/ironing board and safe for valuables was a little disappointing. A longer stay would not have been possible.

We enjoyed our fifth stay at the hotel. Our room and Breakfast were excellent. We particularly appreciated the help of the front desk staff on 12 and 13 January in contacting credit card companies when my wife's purse was stolen during a bus journey

My review is not based on our stay, because we didn't. I had to cancel as the Eurostar service was cancelled because of the French strikes. I rang the hotel to explain, and to ask whether because the reason for not taking up our booking was beyond our control (and we have stayed frequently up to now in Accor hotels) we could change the booking to 20th March. I was told that this was not possible, and we would have to forfeit the payment we had made. Hence my above mark.

Good situated hotel at 400 meters of the station. Standard IBIS rooms. Nice breakfast buffet. Service and teception very friendly. Some nice restaurants also nearby. Station gare de lyon is a good departure point for visiting Paris.
