Considering the Covid 19 restrictions our one night stay, after ferry crossing was very comfortable. Room was warm and welcoming. Breakfast taken in our room was excellent before continuing our journey. Staff very courteous and helpful.

Booking, messages and follow up makes you feel valued . Receptionist was very friendly and efficient. She handed me the key promptly and went up to my bedroom. Unfortunately le room kept stubbornly dark as there was no electricity. Went back to réception and after she tried and was confronted to the same problem decided to upgrade me to a better room to make up for the inconvenience . The meal I ordered was ready on time and very acceptable considering the constraints. Same for breakfast. All in all a pleasant stay despite enormous pressures to ensure the safety of guests from covidv19. I ‘ll be back for my next trip to England.

Warm welcome from the night receptionist, but cold room, heater not warming up the room, 15 minutes running water to get hot water...

Nous sommes désolés que le service et la prestation n’aient pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes, et nous vous prions d’accepter nos plus sincères excuses. Nous comprenons qu'il n'est pas agréable d'avoir froid dans la chambre. cependant comme indiqué lors de votre départ, la réception est ouverte 24h/24, et nous aurions donc pu vous mettre un chauffage d'appoint et vérifier avec vous que votre radiateur était bien en mode "Soleil" et non en mode "Lune" comme constaté après votre départ. Je suis également surprise par votre note concernant notre petit-déjeuner qui reste complet malgré les normes de service en plateau. Concernant l'eau chaude, je m'en suis excusé à votre départ. En effet au vu de l'activité très faible de notre établissement, il y a malheureusement un délai plus long pour que l'eau chaude arrive en chambre, comme indiqué dans la salle de bain. De nouveau, nous vous remercions pour vos commentaires et espérons regagner votre confiance lors d’un prochain séjour. As it was a single night stay in order to catch the morning ferry to UK which required a check in at 07:00 hrs it was simply a bed for the night and no use of hotel restaurant or facilities. Covid safeguards meant not a lot of opportunity to sample anything.

The first thing to hit me was the smell of stale smoke in my room. I have stayed here a few times before and always seem to get the same room so surprised it smelt so strongly given it is a smoke free hotel. The room is compact but as mentioned fine for one night but is very stuffy if the weather is warm even with the window open. Breakfast under Covid-19 conditions was very basic but given it was free i guess I can't complain.

I have stayed here many times and have always had a very warm welcome and enjoyed a comfortable night’s sleep in a clean room. Breakfast was up to normal standards despite the Covid19 restrictions. I will continue to make this a regular port of call when going to or coming off the ferry.

Arrived mid-evening and received a warm welcome at reception. Our room was small but clean and the breakfast buffet was fine. Secure car park could be better lit.

My wife and I booked on line with the promise of the restaurant being open for dinner. On arrival, tired and hungry we were were informed the the restaurant had been closed since August. We are both elderly but the only alternative was to walk to the town centre, 15 mins. Would it have been too difficult to explain this on you website. At least we could have been offered the secure parking free instead of charging us €5.50.

Our room has an enormous double (more like triple) bed filling one long wall, and a huge TV screen filling the other, in a very narrow room No provision has been made for disposing of one's clothes (shelves, chest of drawers), sitting down, or writing at a table or desk. The shower-room has a notice, in French asnd English, about the hot water supply, whose "English" version is virtually incomprehensible. Could not the Management (not "the Direction"!) have found an English speaker to translate the French?
